After the battle, the entire school was gathered in the grand hall while professors tended to the students' wounds. Harley was seated on a bench, deep in thought.
"Harley, bro, you okay there?" Harith asked the magician. Harley ignored him. At least Lylia had answered one of his questions. She was Darkborn. But still, he was puzzled. Lylia did not seem like herself when she fought him. Something was not right. A moment later, an idea clicked.
"Harith," Harley called out. The Leonin came over instantly.
"What is it?" Harith asked. "Do you need help?"
Harley nodded. "I'm afraid I will be in need of your services-" he pointed to the necklace that Harith was wearing. "-again. I need to go back to the battle to confirm something."
"Understood. This is about Lylia, isn't it? I saw her fighting on the side of the Abyss just now," Harith stated. Harley shook his head, not wanting to tell Harith more. Harith passed him the paw necklace. "You know the rules. Good luck with whatever you need to do."
Harley sent himself back to the battle against Lylia, to the moment when she sent out her shadow ball. The shadow ball illuminated Lylia's face enough to the point where...yes! Harley's suspicions were proven. Lylia's eyes, instead of grey, were a shade of blood-red.
A while later, Harley was back in the present. He tossed the necklace back to a waiting Harith and said, "I need to get to the library. Now."
