"You're done! I've been waiting here for half an hour," Harith said, leaning against the wall as Harley returned the necklace to him. Then, he grinned. "Now it's time to fulfill your side of the deal."

The next day, Lylia approached Harley. "Wanna have lunch together at the gardens again?" she asked. "Yesterday's picnic was amazing!"

"Sorry, Lylia. I agreed to meet Nana for lunch. Another time?" Harley suggested. As a matter of fact, he wasn't lying. Harley wanted to get closer to Nana in order to get to know her better. He needed confirmation that Nana did indeed like Harith.

Lylia pouted a little but let Harley go. After all, what choice did she have?

Over the next few days, Lylia noticed that Harley had begun spending a lot of time with Harith and Nana. He no longer wanted to eat with her as well. He would always delay their picnic. "What did I do wrong?" she asked Gloom sometimes, hurt. "Does Harley like Nana more than me? I thought..." Little did she know that Harley was doing that for a reason. His thoughts were always with her and not Nana. But, he wondered, when would Lylia finally realise that?
