Alice watched as Harley and his crew explored the grounds of the Abyss. "I can see the Leonin boy and girl, but who is that boy on the dinosaur? He looks familiar..." Then, the vampire queen remembered. Spinning around, she faced Lylia, who was staring inquisitively at her. "Get me Balmond, the Berserker," she commanded. Lylia dipped her head obediently and dashed off.

A few minutes later, Lylia returned with a struggling Balmond. "Let me go!" he roared, breaking free of her grip. Lylia shrank back, stunned.

"Hello, Balmond dear, it has been a long time since I last saw you," Alice greeted him with a sweet smile.

"I thought you agreed to let me live in the Abyss in peace, Blood Demon!" the Berserker bellowed in anger. "You swore never to touch me again! How dare you bring me back?"

Alice smirked. "Why, but your old student is here for a visit. Don't you want to see him?"

Balmond gasped. "Barats? Where?" At his words, Alice's Blood Orb showed a projection of the Dino Rider traipsing through the Abyss. "You won't capture him, will you?"

Alice shook her head and seemed slightly amused. "I see you still care for your former apprentice greatly. You see, Balmond dear, I will not capture him unless you do what I say." Resigned, Balmond nodded reluctantly.

"Very well. But after this, you must let me go!" Balmond shook his finger at the Queen of the Apocalypse. Alice dipped her head, smiling secretly.

"This stupid Orc has no idea what I've got in mind!" she thought slyly.
