Just as Harley was preparing to leave the Academy, in the Abyss, Alice slammed her hand on the table. "We attack tonight," she proclaimed. Alice was sick and tired of all the planning and work that the Abyssal Council had done.

"But, my queen, are you sure?" Selena asked, worried. They had hardly made any plans. "This could be dangerous."

Alice laughed. "With the Little Witch on our side, what's the worst that could happen? One of the Academy's greatest students, the Mage Genius, will be rendered useless."

Selena and the rest of the Council dipped their heads. "We shall attack the Magic Academy tonight!"

That night, Harley stepped out onto the grounds of the Magic Academy warily. He had no clue of what to expect in the Abyss. Just as he walked out of the school, a loud "crack" could be heard. Harley jumped in surprise and looked around.

"Aah!" he screamed when he looked at the sky. Led by a woman with demon horns, the night was overrun by demons flying towards the Academy. But that was not the worst of it. Just behind the flying woman was a shadow of a girl, with purple and black hair, gliding effortlessly through the air. The girl turned to look at the ground. There was no mistake. It was Lylia.

"No, no...no, this must be some mistake. It...it can't be true!" Harley's mind shouted as he stared at where he had seen Lylia. "What...Lylia can't have joined the Abyss!" Yet, he could not deny what he had just seen. Swivelling around, Harley dashed back to the Magic Academy, hoping to warn everyone of the demon invasion.
