Over the next few weeks, Alice taught Lylia to absorb Gloom's power to become faster. She also trained Gloom to respond to Lylia's commands and move in different directions. Lylia grew stronger by the day, to the point where she could teleport with Gloom's help. "There's no more I can teach her," Alice mused. So that night, she summoned her council to discuss what to do with the powerful witch.

Helcurt, the Shadowbringer, hissed, "Let me devour her...you cannot let her go!" Alice shook her head, rejecting the idea.

"My queen, there is a problem. The girl is too loyal to her academy and that magician boy to willingly attack the Moniyan Empire where she studies." Selena said.

Alice grinned wickedly. "Too bad. I shall have to break my promise to the child." She stood up, her chair scraping on the floor. "Our uprising against the Moniyan Empire shall finally begin!"
