Sigh of Relief

"No problem, here we are, have a goodnight y/n see you tomorrow. Call me if you need anything." Morgan says as he waves to you goodbye. "Thank you again for the ride, see you tomorrow." You say as he drives off. It was chilly outside. The only sound you heard was leaves falling from the trees. You unlock the door to your apartment and as soon as you get inside, you kick off your heels that have been killing the tips of your toes for hours. "Much better" you say as you sigh in relief. You put your bags down and you turn on the TV to relax. "What a day." You say to yourself replaying how your first day at Quantico went.

You grab your phone and start to order some takeout. As you place your order, you get a message from a random number.

UNKNOWN: Hey Agent y/l/n. I hope you enjoyed your first day today. Sorry if my pickup line offended you, I was trying to be funny

You think to yourself for a moment trying to remember your colleagues name. Spencer. Doctor Spencer Reid. You say to yourself as you begin to respond back to his message.

Y/N: Hey Spencer, no worries about your pick up line. Morgan and I were just talking about how funny that was. Trust me it wasn't offensive, I enjoyed it.

You respond back as you put a smiley face emoji. 10 Minutes later, your takeout arrives to your door. You start to eat your meal with yet another sigh of relief. You were so hungry and all this thinking today made you forget to pack a lunch. After your meal, you make your way over to the shower. You turn the shower head to warm and you start to undress. You get another notification as you are about to take off the skirt that had been hugging your sides for hours.
It was Spencer Reid replying back to your message.

Spencer: Oh. I'm glad it wasn't offensive. Have a goodnight see you tomorrow.

Y/N: Same to you, goodnight.
You place your phone down on the sink and continue to undress. You hop in the shower, sitting there as the warm water hits your skin. Today had been a long day for you. You wanted to give a good impression to the BAU and you wanted to help with the case, which you had succeeded. After relaxing as the steam from the warm water had filled the room, you turned the knob to the left turning off the shower. You dry yourself off as you slip into fresh baggy clothing that was way more comfortable than the outfit you wore today. You brush your teeth and make your way over to your nightstand to blow out your "flannel" scented candle from Bath & Body Works.

You hop into bed and you pull the covers over you, fresh linen and a tired woman was a great combination. After putting your head on your pillow, you instantly felt calm and cozy. Within minutes, you fell asleep as the sounds of the wind travelled outside your window through the night.

(me hoping that you guys got my flannel candle reference.. if not, "flannel" is a scent that is rumored to smell like matthew!)
