August pov:

Im 18 years old. My dad just got married to this lady named Samantha. Ive met her a few times, but she as a daughter, and im not looking forward to this. In a few days, were moving in with them. So today is like a pre dinner before we move in.

Right now we just got to there house, and its pretty big. Ms. Samantha opened the door & mydad greeted her with a hug.

Hey August, how ya been? she asked me

Good, i said

Well come on in, dinner will be ready in about 10 minutes. Chloe will be down in a second, she said

Just then, a girl with long red hair, & blue eyes walked down stairs. She had on sweat pants & a shirt that said dope. Shes real cute.

Chloe, this is August. Your new step brother, Samantha said

I got up & gave her a hug.

So, shall we eat? Samantha asked

We all walked to the table. I sat next to Chloe & my dad sat by Samantha.

So, August, Do you go to the high school down the road from here? Chloe asked me

Yeah, why? i said with attitude

I mean, come on. What kind of question is that? Of course i go to school.

Dinner was basically quiet the rest of the time. Chloe went up to her room. I knew she was mad so i went up there . i knocked on the door twice & she opened it

What do you want? she asked with attitude
