I wake up, groaning and possibly still a bit hungover from drinking a bit too much alcohol yesterday. Honestly, now that I think about it. I don't really remember coming home, but I must have since I'm in my bed right now. I sat up in my bed, staring sleepily out the window. It's so bright out today. I sighed as I tried to stand up, but just ended up falling back down onto my bed when my head started spinning.
Just then, my phone rang making me groan. I glided my hand along my bed sheets trying to find my phone. It took me a few moments until finally I felt my phone under my pillow. I pressed the accept the call button and brought it to my ear.
"Hello?" I asked sleepily into the phone and yawned.
"Jungkook? Are you just waking up?" The familiar voice of Namjoon asked on the other line.
"Yeah, so what?" I asked in annoyance as I sat up and rubbed my eyes.
"So it's 8:45 and classes start in 15 minutes!" He exclaimed in alarm.
"Oh and tell him that the field trip to the museum of art is also today," Taehyung's voice chimed in. My eyes went wide at both of them said and I jolted up to a standing position.
"Yeah, anyways, you better get here soon before the principal comes to check that we're all in," Namjoon insisted in a nervous tone.
"Shit! Alright, I'm on my way! Thanks for calling me hyung, I'll be there soon," I thanked him as I hung up and rushed to the bathroom. I washed my face at lightning speed then came back into my room. I rushed around my room grabbing a suitable outfit and slipping it on as fast as I could. I hurried down the stairs and grabbed my bag and my car keys before rushing out to my car. I got into my car and drove off to the school. I was speeding, but I needed to get to the school.
Once I arrived at the school, I rushed out of my car and sprinted into the school. I ran down the hallway and towards the teacher's office. I pushed open the door and stepped in. I dropped my things once I was in the office and let out a sigh of relief while panting from doing all of that running.
"Morning Jungkook," the guys greeted me with surprised expressions.
"Mor... ning... guys...," I replied through heavy breaths as I leaned against the couch, "I just made it huh?" They nodded to that.
"Um... Jungkook, your hair," Jimin pointed out as he gestured to my messy hair.
"Ugh, I know. I was in a rush to get here. I didn't even get a chance to have breakfast," I grumbled as I checked the mirror and groaned trying to fix it by combing my fingers through it. My fingers kept getting caught in the tangles that were in my hair. I let out a sigh of frustration. "Hyungs, remind me to never touch alcohol."
"Yeah, you drank a lot yesterday. We were surprised. Then again, we all did drink a lot yesterday," Hoseok said with an awkward chuckle, "When I woke up this morning, I didn't even remember how I got home."
"Same. I didn't remember much of what happened yesterday besides drinking and eating and Seokjin telling us more than enough of his annoying dad jokes," Yoongi commented as he shook his head disapproving. Seokjin gasped at that and sent Yoongi a glare. Before anyone could say anything else, the door opened revealing the principal. He walked in and smiled at everyone.
"Good morning everyone," he greeted all of us. He greeted him back with smiles and nods. He glanced around at all of us before his eyes landed on me and he raised his eyebrow. "Mr Jeon, I see you're having a bad hair day."
"Yeah, just one of those days," I replied awkwardly as I rubbed the back of my neck. He chuckled in amusement and nodded in understanding.
"Anyways, just wanted to check in with you and Mr Kim. You will be going in two buses for the trip. You'll be leaving after the first class and returning just before the last class," he mentioned as he glanced from me and Taehyung. Both Taehyung and I nodded in understanding. "I hope you both will have fun as well as your classes." We sent him grateful smiles as he turned around and left. Once he was gone, I looked at Taehyung.
