It took us forever to finally get to the air temple. Well, only like 3 days but we were delayed more hours because Appa got tired and we had to start walking.
No one told me that the air temples were upside down on a cliff though. It was so beautiful though. Overgrown plants seeped throughout the temple and statues of the Avatar Yangchen were built everywhere.
I felt spiritual presence here, I would be able to get the spirit world easier and use my energy for whatever I needed.
We all stood around taking in the scenery when The duke, Teo, and Haru took off running to explore. Well Teo used his wheelchair but it was basically the same thing.
Aang tried to go with them but Katara stopped him, telling the boys that Aang will catch up in a little bit.
"We need to decide what we are gonna do now." I said, "You're the Avatar, it's your call."
"Fair enough, what's the new plan." Aang said, annoyed and sitting down.
"The new plan should be the old plan. You should master the elements and then take down the firelord with the help of Amara before Sozin's comet." Sokka explained.
"We are gonna need to lay low, especially now that it seems they are going after Amara." Toph said.
"What can I say?" I joked, "Everybody wants me."
"Great, just great, one problem: I don't have a firebending teacher!" Aang said, agitated.
"We could look for Jeong Jeong." I suggested, remembering the wise firebender.
"Whose Jeong Jeong?" Toph asked.
"He taught Aang firebending." I explained, "We got split up though."
"Even if you can't learn firebending you have a secret weapon that the avatars before you didn't have; Amara!" Sokka said.
"Right but once again; I cannot be the one to fully take down Ozai without making it an act of war between the spirits and the mortal world. I can help, but unless he's actually threatening the spirit worldI cannot kill him" I explained.
"Couldn't you just ask your spirit friends to do it for us?" Sokka asked me.
"Sokka the only reason the spirits respect me is because I make sure their world is protected and that mortals don't get in their way. They are not gonna fight in a mortal war just cause I asked." I rolled my eyes.
"What about that Astra girl that helped you at the party in Ba Sing Se?" Toph asked.
"Astara doesn't help because I ask, she helps because it's in her best interest or because she wants to. She likes chaos and war so I'm pretty sure she won't fight our battle for us. Again I say: This is the Avatars duty not mine."
"Amara's right, the spirits can't fight our battle." Katara said, "Aang it has to be you that takes down the firelord, even with Amara's help."
"Oh well, we still have time. Why don't we take a nice tour around the temple?" Aang said, getting up to deflect. He grabbed Momo and took off with his glyder.
Okay, but how is it that even Avatar Kuruk is more serious than him?

"Oh you're gonna love the all day echo chamber," Aang said as I slid off Appa and landed on the stone floor. I sneezed as the dust from my landing flew into my face.
