I was busy brushing my hair in my room. It had gotten a little bit longer since I had cut it, but it was still a bob nonetheless. It had curled a little bit after I had cut it and was now a bit wavy. I didn't complain though, I looked rather nice after everything that had happened since then.

I heard an angry huff and angry footsteps in my room. I looked back to see Zuko angrily throw his bag that he took to collect berries and other things down. He stormed over to the cot and dropped onto it, groaning into the pillow.

I walked over to him and sat down next to him, gently putting my hand on his back. He went tense, before melting into my touch.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

He turned his head over so he could talk, sighing as he did.

"It's Katara, no matter how much I try to be nice and help, and all of that, she is still a total bitch. What do I have to do?" He asked.

"Well she's psycho, try to ignore her. I'm sure one day you guys will be fine." I said, "Like, her dad is psycho like her anyway."

"What do you have against her dad?" he asked me.

"With the exception of Sokka and Pau, Yue's cousin, I have a deep-seated hatred and annoyance for.....water tribe men," I said with acid dripping with my words.

He gave me a small smirk, before turning over onto his back and pulling down onto him. I let out a small squeak at the contact.

"Seriously though, don't worry about Katara, everything will be fine," I whispered.

He pressed his lips against mine and I felt his familiar heat. I sighed into the kiss and wrapped my arms around his neck. I shifted so that I could straddle him again.

"Fuck..." He grunted, totally getting to me, "Amara, we can't anymore, they will hear us."

"Good, Sokka, and Suki were totally heard by everyone," I whispered.

"Amara, I swear I will make it up to you." He said, smirking slightly.

"Ughh..ok fine!" I laughed, getting off of him and laying down next to him. He wrapped his arms around me and put me in the little spoon position. I sighed and backed up into him, getting wrapped into his heat and closing my eyes to savor the moment.

I woke up with a start, a loud sound having woken me from my sleep. I sat up and felt Zuko jump up from next to me.

"What was that?" I asked.

"Let's go find out," he said as more bangs sounded throughout the temple. We ran to the main room, where the sounds seemed to be coming from. The others were already there, string outside.

I followed their gaze to see three large flying military ships hovering by the air temple. Aang was trying to hold off their attacks, but there were so many of them he could barely keep up. I glanced over at Zuko who was glaring at them.

"Fire nation," he said, "they're fire nation."

"Fuuuuuuu-" I started, but was cut off.

"Over here, this is our way out!" Toph yelled, standing by a tunnel that she and Haru earthbender in the dirt. We all ran towards the opening. My heart pounded in my ears.

Suddenly I realized that Zuko wasn't next to me. I looked back to see him staring at the ships, a sort of hatred in his eyes.

Well, the working one at least.
