"Cmon Appa! We have to leave Sokka and Katara! It isn't safe for them!" Aang struggled against Appa.

"I think Appa is trying to tell you not to go Aang." Katara said, "We can't afford to lose you to the fire nation."

"But I have to talk to Avatar Roku to find out what my vision means!" Aang argued, "And Amara needs to reconnect to Kyoshi!"

"Fine, but we are coming with you." Sokka said.

We have been flying for about 3 hours. I felt like falling asleep. Even when I trained with Kyoshi, she never made me get up this early.

"C'mon Boy we got a long way to go! Faster!." Aang said to Appa.

I sighed, hoping that this would be easy, even though we were heading into fire nation.

To help pass time I leaned over the side of Appa's saddle to look down at the ocean. I noticed behind us a large ship.

The fire bender's ship.

"Shit!" I yelled, "Aang we have trouble!"

"What do you mean trouble," Aang called back to me from the front. Just as he was asking me a large flaming..... ball thing was launched at us.

"That kind of trouble," I answered, plugging my nose as the stench of the hot sticker invaded my nostrils, "A putrid one."

"Have to get out of here before he actually hits us," called Katara, hanging on to the Bison so that she wouldn't get thrown off when Appa was dodging attacks.

"Heeeeeeeeeeeey zuko." I waved at him to make sure he saw me, before I gave him the finger. I might have been far away, but I could see the anger shooting off of him. I also saw an older man near him, laughing.

"Amara!" Sokka shouted at me.

I turned and smiled at him when I saw something ahead of us.

"Aang is that a-"

"A blockade," he said, concentrating on getting Appa forward, "we have to go north and fly around the fire nation blockade."

"We don't have time," said Katara as we all huddled to the front, ignoring Zuko and his fire nation ship behind us.

"This is exactly why you both shouldn't have come," yelled Aang to Katara and Sokka, "its too dangerous for you."

"That's why they came," I said to him, "we can't grieve on what's already done. Full steam ahead."

Aang looked back at me for a second before turning back to face the front.

"Appa, yip-yip." Aang shouted.

Appa searched ahead, causing me to bump into Sokka. He yelped.

I Looked down at the blockade to see even bigger ships than Zukos. My heart sank. And then it pounded when the ships shot fireballs at us. We dogged as many as we could, thankfully only one hit us.

"Appa are you ok?" I heard Aang ask, getting a grunt from Appa in response.

Appa flew up all the way above the clouds, but that didn't stop the fireballs from coming. We keep dodging and dodging and I thought for sure that I was gonna get whiplash. Another one hit Appa causing Sokka to fall off.

"No!" I heard Katara shout.

"Sokka!" I shouted.

Aang turned Appa around and got to Sokka, but we went too far down and Appa was now hitting the water. More fireballs were shot at us. A huge fireball came our way but Aang was able to deflect it.
