I slowly opened my eyes, the coldness I was so used to feeling at the temple absent. That's when it hit me. I realized that very much not alone and was currently pressed up against a very warm body.

Pushing the memories from last night out of my head I glanced out the window. The sun hadn't risen yet, but the sky was glowing a faint blue, indicating that the day was beginning. I stood up, pushing the blankets and fire bender off of me. I recalled our conversation last time we had woken up like this and I wasn't so excited to.......

Yeah.

I slipped out of the room quietly after putting my clothing that was strewn all of the floor back on. My feet padded quietly on the cold stone floor as I made my way outside. I shivered slightly in the early morning chill, somewhat wishing to be back in bed with Zuko.

I shook my head, no way did I want that. Last night was a huge mistake and we were both upset. A one night stand didn't change the fact that he was an awful person.

Or at least I thought.

I felt dirty and ashamed of what I had done, and I never feel ashamed of having sex. Maybe I felt guilty that after everything I just had to let him back into my bed again.

A small part of me loved every moment of it and that's what scared me the most.

I yawned, my whole body was begging me to go back to bed and just suck it up when it came to Zuko. I was cold, achy, and tired...not to mention kinda hungry.

At least on the north pole, it was cold all around, the temple was the annoying cold that breezed in with small drafts that seemed to come out of nowhere.

I brushed my hand through my hair, stopping when I realized how short it was, only to remember that I had cut it. I groaned as another breeze hit me.

I walked all the way to where we kept our bonfire. Remembering last night's events, I cringed. I really didn't want people to see my emotions.

I noticed that my other companions had the same issues as Toph, Sokka, the Duke, Teo, and Katara were all surrounding the burned out bone fire.

I noticed Appa was also sleeping there and I walked over. The beast opened his eyes but I petted him until he closed it again. I went over and cuddled up to him, using his heat to help me. I silently hoped that the bison would be ok with me.

My eyes slowly closed as I fell into another sleep.

I woke up to people talking, the smell of food, and the sun gleaming on me. I got up slowly and noticed Appa eating some apples.

I walked over to see everyone besides Aang and Zuko.

Thank fucking Kyoshi I didn't have to see him yet.

Katara passed me a plate of fruit and I happily ate it.

"I wonder how Aang's doing, today's the first day he learns actual firebending instead of the meditating Zuko's been making him do," Katara said.

"He is probably getting burned alive," Sokka said sarcastically.

"Soooo you guys find anything interesting in the temple?" I asked the Duke, Teo, and Haru.

"Oh yeah, we found a ton of new hiding spots!" Teo said.

"Yeah there was one where I could-" Duke started.

"Shut up! You can't give away all our secrets," Haru interrupted. The group giggled, and I laughed too. That was until I heard footsteps behind me.
