A drill.
A giant drill.
A giant FUCKING DRILL.
GOING INTO BA SING SE.
I'm about to have a goddamn aneurysm.
"How the hell are we supposed to stop that." I said, looking to Aang for help.
He looked....hopeless.
"Why does everyone have to be so angsty and depressed?" I thought to myself, "That's Zuko's job."
"Does anyone else think the drill looks like a uhhhh.....never mind." I stopped, I mean after all, there were children present.
The drill was loud, like really fucking loud. We were hundreds if not thousands of feet away and I could still hear it.
We ran over to the wall and Toph and Aang brought us all the way up using their earthbending.
"What are you doing here? Civilians aren't allowed here!" I heard a general man shout.
"I'm the Avatar, take me to whoever is in charge." Aang commanded.
We said our goodbyes to our traveling companions and met with the head Admiral in a wall bunker.
"It is an honor to host the Avatar and the Spirit girl here, but we don't need you." He told us.
"Not needed?" I asked, in disbelief, the fire nation was literally going to break in!
"Not needed." The Admiral confirmed, "Many have tried to break in, but all have failed."
"What about the Dragon of the West?" Toph asked, "He broke in."
Hearing that nickname made me think of my friend. I felt a pang in my heart as I thought of how he layed, lifeless, last I saw him. I barely paid attention to this man's excuses. I'm losing brain cells listening to him if I'm being honest, and quite frankly, I need as many as I can have.
That's when I saw a flash of red and pink. I looked through a telescope and saw Ty lee and Mai, taking down an entire squad of grown, earthbending, men.
"We are doomed!" The Admiral shouted in anguish. I had to fight the urge to roll my eyes.
"Maybe you would like the Avatar and the Spirit girl's help now?" Toph asked, sarcastically.
"Yes please." He said meekly.
About fucking time.

"Once I whip up some cover you're not going to be able to see, so stay close to me," Toph instructed as we crouched in a ditch. The fire nation drill was growing closer with every second.
The tiny eartbender jumped out of our hiding spot and got straight to work. As she raised her arms the ground shook as it bended to her will. The dust from the dry earth flung into the air in a huge cloud.
"RUN!" Toph shouted, taking off toward the dust as we followed quickly after her. I squinted my eyes as we entered the haze, the sand whipping at my exposed skin.
"Here," Toph called and I ran towards the sound of her voice as she opened a hole in the ground.
I jumped into the hole, rolling as I hit the ground and steadied myself as I came to a land. We were submerged in darkness as Toph closed the opening of the hole.
