Chapter XXIV: Battles for safety; Shiosaki's mission at home *Part 2

Shisuoka's perfecture - Kurokenai's appartment.

A couple of days have happened since the J. Characters had been invited on Shiosaki's former home, as his fiancee and friends have found them at the beach nearby that day.

In the entire time they have been with them, Ryu, Renji and Yugi have now seen what kind of culture and fame they had in that world, as they were considered fictional characters of manga, created by some especific people by their imagination.

Rukia at first was a little unsure, as she was mostly surrounded by men, but the presence of Megan and Chitoge were enough to keep her calm.

Renji and Seiya had now began a friendly way to live together, as the soul reaper had asked for the knight to train, as he was interested in knowing how to counter a martial artist with a blade, although Seiya did compliment him more than a couple of times of his outstanding sword technique, although the guy always saying that his female partner was better than him.

Kenshiro most of the time was silent and stoic, meditating in silence, as he analised their situation. But he also developed a certain trust with Touya and Saito, not saying that he wasn't even caring of the young adult's fanboyism, something reminded by his friend a couple of times, but not really doing much, as he knew how his friend was. But even with this, Kenshiro didn't feel disturbed in any way, although Touya did contained a little, as he knew what kind of semblance the martial artist had.

Nowadays was actually calm, as the advise of the goverment to stay on home as "quarantine" wasn't really pleasing to the young adults, but they decided to follow, as they guests, having knowledge of the meaning also follow.

Right now, Rukia was at the guest's room, as she had borrowed some clothes of Chitoge, as the girl bought some on this days for the J. Characters, obviously ignoring the multiple times Ryu tried to flirt with her and the girls.

As the female reaper was checking some of the news as she was doing at the same time some of the chores, she found herself intrigued, as she saw a photo of a family in early years, two adults, a young teenager and a newborn, being in the photo as a warming family, then getting thr attention of another photo, being the group of four young adults they've met, but there was a fifth one, a young tall adult of brown hair, that ressembled the teenager of the other photo, although older, as she had guessed it was a more recent photo.

She was so distracted at seeing them that she didn't hear someone entering the room, being a certain brunette of tough mood.

"He's our friend-" Rukia jumped in reaction, as she was somewhat scared of the sudden voice, as she also released a silent squeak at that.

But she regained her composture, as she saw Megan leaning on the wall near the door, looking at her as she gazed at the photos.

"O-oh sorry, it wasn't my intention to intrude!" Rukia did feel a little uncomfortable of that, as she knew she was implying something personal.

[Sighs] "Shiosaki Kurokenai, that's his name" the brunette said in nostalgia, as Rukia sensed the mood, Megan grabbing the photo of them with Shiosaki on them as friends, looking at it, as she gave a smile, trailing her fingers on his especific space.

"He's the original owner of this place, a great guy to trust, [sigh] he is such a determined guy that even us admire from the bottom" Megan explained, as she had her eyes on his image all the time. Rukia was looking at this intrigued, but as she saw her gaze, she finally understood.

"You like him, isn't it?" As she asked in a warm tone, Megan just chuckled a bit, as a tear appeared on her left eye.

"Not just like him-" she gazed at the reaper, as she gave a warm smile.
