"Why didn't you ever tell me about her?" I ask him my eyes wide.

"She isn't something we like to talk about." He tells me gruffly.

"Why?" I ask as I sit down at the desk.

He sighs softly and closes his eyes. "Because there was three of us."

His tone holds a hint of pain, "what happened?" I ask softly.

"She got him killed." He answers bluntly his jaw tight. "I'm sorry." I mumble as I grab his hand softly causing his body to relax slightly.

"Where has she been all this time?" I ask after a few minutes.

"Gone, I don't know where, quite frankly I don't care." He replies.

His eyes hold no emotion, she really hurt him. I stand on my tiptoes and kiss him softly. I place my forehead against his as he closes his eyes, "thank you." He mumbles.

"For what?" I run a finger over his jawline causing him to smile, "for being here, for not leaving me."

"You can't get rid of me that easily Mr. Summers." I say with a grin. "Good." He replies brushing his thumb across my cheek causing his eyes to meet mine.

A knock sounds at the door before he reluctantly releases me from his grasp.

"Come in." He says gruffily as I sit in the big chair behind his desk as he stands next to me, his hand in mine.

Dark curls and bright blue eyes appear as Dylan tenses. "Brother, let me explain." She says softly her eyes never meeting my own.

I furrow my brows at her as Dylan's hand tightens around mine. "I'm sorry, Dylan isn't in the best mood today, maybe come back tomorrow?" I ask as polietly as I am able.

"I wasn't talking to you." She growls her eyes flashing. Disrespect is dripping from her voice. "I am going to ask one more time, please leave." I order in a sickly sweet voice.

"You're not my mother nor the boss of me, so no, I don't think I will. As far as I'm concerned your just another girl sleeping with my brother for his power." She replies her eyes challenging me.

I laugh at her lack of knowledge, I was really hoping she would be nice. "Get out, before I make you." I growl my eyes flashing.

"Like you could ever 'make me', I am here to talk to him...and I'm not leaving until I do." She spits out.

I feel my control slip as I grab her by the throat and pin her to the wall, my vampire side in full control. She bares her canines to me as her eyes shift, "you don't really want to piss me off right now! Your brother is my mate and the love of my life and right now, you being here is pissing us both off. You're making it very hard to control myself. I am starving and you're giving me a reason to drain every ounce of blood in your body." I growl out as I drop her to the floor.

She gasps for air as Dylan grabs my arm and pulls me to him my front still facing the gasping she wolf.

He grabs my arms and hugs them to my body as he holds me from behind. My breathing is heavy as the scent of her blood fills the room. Shit.

"Go." Dylan barks out his tone hard as she scrambles to get off the floor.

She shakily grabs the doorknob and swings the door open before running out.

The door slams shut, "Dylan I'm losing it." I gasp out as my throat burns.

I feel him out his arm to my mouth but I push it away. "I can't." I tell him before breaking out of his arms and moving away.

He looks at me with an unreadable expression before leaving the room. He returns seconds later with a blood bag that I easily down.

I put my head in my hands and sigh softly. "I'm sorry Dylan."

"For what?" He asks as he kneels in front of me and pushes some hair out of my face.

"For almost killing your sister." I mutter. "You tried being nice. She is the one who pushed you." He replies.

"I should have controlled myself better." I tell him as my eyes find his.

He smiles, "for a fairly new, injured, under fed hybrid. You did just fine baby."

He kisses my forehead and helps me up before sitting down at the desk. "I have some work to catch up on. I'll be done later." He tells me kissing the top of my hand."

"Thank you." I tell him softly which earns me a grin.

I leave the office and sigh as the door shuts. "Rosie!" I hear Nadia call for me.

I climb down the stairs and meet her at the bottom. "Did you hear that Delilah is back?" She asks.

"Yeah, I just found out about her." I reply. "We used to be really good friends until she left." She tells me with a sad smile.

"Really?" I ask as a frown etches itself on my face.

"Yeah, something happened, I'm not sure what but it changed things." She tells before shaking her head and smiling.

"I just came to check up on you." She says as she hugs me gently.

"I'm alot better now, things were rough, they still are a bit but I'm honestly getting back to where I was." I reply truthfully.

"Thats great! I've missed you." She says pouting. "I've missed you too Nad." I ruffle her hair up causing her to frown.

"You know how long it took me to make this masterpiece?" She asks as she gestures to her perfectly styled hair.

"A long time?" I ask laughinh at the put out expression on her face.

"You bet your cute ass it did, so I would appreciate it if you did not just ruffle it up like you would a toddler." She scolds playfully.

"Dully noted. You want to play video games or watch a movie?" I ask.

"I will never turn down a good movie." She tells me with a grin. Just like that my mood is instantly restored to its happy state.
