"Anyong."
I like a fool bowing to the guy in front of me, who just introduced himself, Wu Yi Fan. He wasn't looking familiar because as his name suggested, he was Chinese.
"Mianhe... I'm Chinese and difficult," he stuttered with his words and I bit back my smile as I waved off his apology.
"I understand English," I told him. He was apologizing for the language barrier but he shouldn't. He was a Chinese and I understood the difficulty. After a few minutes, he decided to accompany me to the coffee shop nearby as he wasn't sure about my mental health.
I was so close to smack this stranger... oops Wu Yi Fan when he said that. I was like dude I wasn't dying over this small thing. I was better than that. I deserved better than that.
For being a stranger, I was awfully comfortable with him and the same thing went for him. He told me that he was a trainee at SM, which reminded me of a certain person but I shook off these thoughts. I did not want to think about it. I should wait for Minseok to come back and resolve our issues rather than jumping over conclusions. Right?
"So, why were you crying earlier?" he asked and I lifted my head to stare at him. Damn he was tall.
I shrugged at his question and stared ahead as we strolled on the streets of Seoul. I did not want to tell him about my stupid one sided love story, yes one sided because my lover never confessed.
"So, what do you do? And how come you are so fluent in English?" he asked with a small smile on his face and I took a deep breath.
"I always loved reading novels and books. So I kind of learned new words every now and then," I said, eliminating the detail of me staying in America. Even though he didn't mean harm, I was still not sure if it was a good idea to open up to him.
"That's amazing," he complimented. "I'm learning Korean too," he said and I nodded as we reached the Cafe.
"So, you're joining me for coffee?" I raised my brows with a playful grin and he shook his head, amused.
"I'm leaving for China," he told me.
"Feeling home sick?" I asked and bit my lower lip as I knew how it feel to stay away from family.
"Kind of." He shrugged and lifted his head up to stare at the sky. "It might rain again," he mumbled. I looked up too and he was right. Clouds were still there. I hummed in agreement with him. "Take this." He stretched out his hand holding an umbrella "You might need it," he told me.
"Umm... I don't know." I chuckled, not sure what to do. He was still a stranger and accepting things from him was kind of odd.
"If we ever meet again. Return it then," he suggested and I quirk my brows. Too much confidence you have there Wu Yi Fan.
"I don't know about that." I shook my head, smiling.
"I believe in fate. We'll surely meet again," he said, confidently and I looked at him, amused. This guy was wow!
"I'll see you soon then." I took the umbrella from him and watched as his eyes lit up in happiness.
"May We Meet Again," he said, softly and then stepped back. He waved at me and I waved back as he walked away.
I shook my head in amusement and pushed open the door only to see Minseok sitting there with other people. He was sitting beside a guy and was laughing at something with a girl, sitting in front of him, wholeheartedly.
I was crying my eyes out for him and he was lying to me? He said he was leaving for China!
Tears threatened to fall from my eyes but I held them. Enough with crying, Park Sana! You're crying over something as stupid as this. I turned on my heels and walked away from there.
