After Exo's 'Growl' became hit, things became more difficult for me and Minseok. I couldn't even see his face for months and as my degree was completed now, I took a job as an assistant of well established writer Mrs Go.

She was a kind woman and I was looking forward to learning things from her. I could even count on my fingers how many times we had met in 2013, it was getting me frustrated but I couldn't complain.

He was an idol.

"Happy birthday Park Sana," I mumbled to myself when I saw the clock hit 12.00 Am. I sighed and climbed down the bed to take out some leftovers for dinner.

Yes. I've not eaten yet because I was waiting for Minseok.

He had promised me this night but I guess I really needed to lower my expectations for the sake of my heart. He just landed from China tonight, he must be tired. I shook my head and went out of my room, only to jump back in shock when I saw someone opening my apartment door.

"Happy birthday my love."

I stood there frozen as Minseok entered the apartment with a cake in his hand and a bright smile on his lips.

"Blow out the candles, hurry up," he told me and I noticed that the candles were melting fast. He must have lit them when he climbed down the car.

I chuckled and blew out the candles as he sang me 'Happy birthday' song. My emotions were all over the place and I couldn't help but shed a few tears at the gesture. He was tired after coming back from China and still he came to me.

"What have I done to deserve you?" I whispered and he furrowed his brows. "I love you Min-Min." I choked out as tears slipped down my cheeks.

Minseok looked at me, alert, as he took the cake from my hands and placed it on the table before taking me in his embrace. I hugged him tightly, a gesture to tell him that I've missed him so much.

"I'm so thankful to God for you," he whispered and leaned back to cup my cheeks in his hands. "I am who I am because of you." He kissed my forehead softly and I closed my eyes. And I'm who I'm because of you.

"Thank you for coming." I bit my lip and blinked my eyes. "I've missed you so much."

"I don't think I've to reply about this." He tilted his head and gave me his boyish grin and I chuckled, nodding my head. "I... I didn't buy you any gift." He scratched his head nervously. "But I got you this from China," he chimed and pulled out a packet from his coat.

"Thanks." I kissed his cheek and moved back but he stopped me there, encircling his arms around me as I froze there, near his face.

"Stay close," he almost begged and I let out a shaky breath as I placed my cheek against his. He dipped his head lower and placed a soft kiss on my exposed neck. "I love you."

"I love you more," I said and he chuckled before moving me back a little. He ran his fingers through my hair and smiled.

"I love you more," he teased and I rolled my eyes. "Okay how much do you love me?" he asked.

"To infinity." I stuck my tongue out and he smirked.

"You love me from zero to infinity but I love you from - infinity to +infinity," he said and I pouted.

"Way to use your knowledge against me. You know I'm not good at maths." I smacked him playfully but he just shrugged.

"Come to dorms tomorrow, everyone is excited about your birthday," he suggested and I giggled.

"Okay." I dragged him to the bed as I went to the kitchen after and heated up the leftovers before coming back to him with food "Let's eat."

He smiled and we started to dig in for food but he looked at me. "Sana?" he called my name and I raised my brows at him.
