Building up my Walls

Lydia POV

I stood there looking dumb founded. This is the same man who made me late getting to work because he wanted my fucking number, are you serious right now? He stood there bathing in confidence, you could Smell the alpha male in him. He was the controller. I didn't even notice it before until it was just us two in the room. I decided to act like I didn't know what he was talking about. I put the biggest smile I could muster up on my face. "Hi my name is Lydia, Lydia Brooks." I held out my hand for him to shake. Of course this Biggs had to go over bored and kiss my out stretched hand. His soft lips left a tingling sensation through my body. He looked at me and had the cocky grin plastered on his face. He shoved his hands deep into his pockets. And his deep voice filled the room. "Corrie, Corrie Sanders."

Corries POV

I can't believe I put my trust in theses stupid niggas. I think to myself why didn't I see the signs I was so for sure he was my A one since Day one I didn't even pay attention to his sneaky ways. My Niggas Rico well The niggas I though who was down for me up and hit it with 2 million dollars worth of drugs and cocaine and now I got the Russians on my ass all because of him. I had to do some to smooth out  our relationship. I had to pay back the 2 million and 12 kilos of pure raw. All because of a snake. I'm not really trippin it didn't put me back at all. It the principle that he crossed me. I let that nigga sleep on my couch when his pops was beating his ass everyday and trying to prostitute him out for his daily fix. I put that nigga on and this is how he repays me. I have to set up a meeting with a new attorney because my old attorney wasn't on my side so I had to clear that contract. The only good thing that has happened in a long time is me seeing a every beautiful woman today. Don't get me wrong I have had my share of the most beautiful women in the world but this woman she was God's gift to all of mankind. I stood in her office and looked down at her I couldn't help but to feel cocky because I knew I was sort of intimidating her. When I ran Into her earlier today I could see the pain in her eyes and I could also see the betrayal. I know that look anywhere because everytime I looked in the mirror I saw the hurt betrayal look in my eyes.

"Miss brooks", I said drawing her out of her thoughts. I needed to discuss business asap. "I need an attorney that I'd available at all times of the day and night even weekends and holidays." I saw expression change immediately she looked like she had a problem. "I also need an attorney who will also back me up no Matter the situation." She just looked at me like I was from another planet. I walked a little closer to her. I couldn't help but look at her ass I could see it from the front. " Why you so quiet ma'? I took a few steps closer to her. I licked my lips so I could get her full attention and sure enough I did. Her eyes traveled directly to my lips. I got a feeling she had a bad break up and wasn't really in the relationship zone I could tell by the way she looked at Me at Starbucks. " How about we discuss this more over a late lunch today because I have to get going to another business function."

Lydias POV

I cannot believe this nigga come up in here thinking he run Shit. I can't even think straight because I'm so distracted by him. " Mr. Sanders I am a very reliable attorney, however I will not be at anybody beck and call." Now if we have this late lunch we will have to work out a schedule that we stick to. I am available every holiday and every day. The only time I will not be able to contact you is if it's a family emergency. At this late lunch we will discuss more of this undisputed matter. I said keeping a straight voice. I couldn't hep but notice this asshole was looking at my ass. Men these days I thought to myself. He looked back at me and we finally made full contact the first time. He had very light brown eyes. " Okay Miss Brooks I like my women confident and feisty I will have car waiting for you at your office around 4:30" He turned around and strolled out the door without even giving me a chance to confirm the time. I just stood there looking stupid. When I see him later I'm surely going to give him a piece of my mind. Omg how could this day get any worse I thought to myself. Just stay calm I thought over and over in my head. I'm not letting any man ever take advantage of me. I'm going to make sure that I always have the upper hand. I know I'm going to have to keep my guard high with him because he seems like a man who doesn't give up. My walls around my heart and any other anatomy parts associated with men and relationships are already in the progress of being build up with a solid foundation. I'm building up these walls and I'm not going to let anybody tear them down again.
