Chapter 8

               Y/N was mortified when the room grew dark. She literally couldn't see anything. Just tints of red, nothing else. "Nononono! Nightmare King Grimm could strike at any moment!" Y/N frantically waved her arms around,panicked. "Relax....this is just a dream! Right?..." Y/N pinched herself. No. It hurt. "Wha-how did I go from dreaming to not dreaming?!" That didn't matter. Y/N was scared. Terrified. "Anyone?" She called. Something moved. Her body shook with fear. "Anyone??!!" She yelled. Still no response. "Are you scared~" A male voice called. "Yes you idiot!! Let me out! Please..." Y/N said the last part softly, but he still heard it. NKG (nightmare king grimm) chuckled. "Ahaha~this, my dear, is something that I would watch all day..." It took Y/N a moment to realize that his voice was coming from somewhere near by, which made her begin to search.

It took Y/N all of her energy to keep tears from spilling out. "I've gotta find NKG. Someone is better than no one.....right?" After about a half hour of wandering around, Y/N gave up. She sat down and stared. Nothing. Just black. "Okay, Grimm. You had your laugh. Now stop." No response. "Grimm. I'm serious." Still nothing. "G R I M M." This time, the only response was, "I know that you're serious, Y/N. But I'm the Nightmare King. It's kinda what I do..." More silence. Y/N sighed for the millionth time. "Wait-if I'm here...what is the other Grimm thinking?! He must be worried, right?...what about at home? Are people I know worried-no,no. But I've gotta get out of here!" Y/N stood up and began running. "If I could find a wall, maybe I can get a door!..." But nooooo. Y/N panted as she continued to run. "Endless..........nothing for miles" Thoughts like those took over her head. She was gasping for air and struggling. Y N knew what she was doing. She knew that she could stop, but she didn't. Slowly, everything faded into darkness.

                 Y/N's vision returned, but it wasn't clear. "I see red.....eyes and claws.....something.....I need water...." She thought. "Water...please..."  The heat was intense. No matter what Y/N did, she couldn't more or speak. Even through the haze of her thoughts, her instincts were saying, "Danger! Run! Move!" But nothing. Now, Y/N's vision was better, but her body wasn't. "....wait-is that...KNIFE! RUN!" Her thoughts were panicked, but Y/N just couldn't move. "s-stop....please...." She said in a weak voice. That's when she realized that the person was Nightmare King Grimm! "Grimm...s-stop..." Grimm paused. "Aw. You're finally awake~" Y/N's head ached. She heard some shuffling. And Y/N could tell NKG heard it too, because he looked around but seemed to shake it off. "Well~looks like this is your end!" He laughed. "W-what do you-" Y/N was cut off by Grimm putting his knife on her mouth. "Haha~the real reason why I brought you here, is to free you from this life...nobody loves you, Y/N~"
