It has been a couple days since the two got back safely. Nothing new. But that didn't mean it was boring! All the grimmkin were pleased that their master and Y/N had returned. Of course, they were both swarmed by questions like, "What happened?!" "How'd you escape?!? ""What did he do to you??". And the answers were either, "Uh...I don't remember..." "Aren't you supposed to be working?" (Well, that one was normally from Grimm) Like that, the days drifted by.

"Hi Grimm!" Y/N greeted. Grimm looked up from a book and quickly shoved it in one of his desk drawers. "Ah-hello, Y/N!" He replied. She walked over to him. "Hey...what were you just reading?" She asked, eyeing his desk. Grimm laughed oddly and replied, "J-just a book! So what would you like to do today?" Y/N stared at him blankly for a moment. "Grimm. What were you reading." Y/N said suspiciously. "Heh...I'm not sure what you're talking-hey!" Grimm whisper-yelled as Y/N opened the drawer. She pulled out the book. "What?" She whispered. The title was written in a language that she didn't understand. "Grimm, what is this? Can you read it?!" She asked, handing him the book. Grimm laughed again and whispered quietly, "Thank the flame..." Ok. Y/N was positive that she wasn't supposed to hear that. "What was that?" Y/N asked. Grimm stared at her for a short moment. "I-Wha-I'm not sure what you're talking about." He replied. Y/N gave him a sad and hurt look. "I-Y/N...I'm sorry. Look, I really want to do something together. I do! It's just that-" He was cut off by Y/N saying, "Oh. I've gotta go now. See you, Grimm." And she walked out.

Grimm sighed and watched her walk out. He quietly cursed. "She won't understand...I'm not ready to tell her! Yet..." He thought. Tears welled up in his eyes as he went back to his work.

Y/N spent the rest of the evening in her room, only coming out for dinner. Oh and don't worry. There was a bathroom in her room :) Even at dinner, she didn't talk to anyone. Grimm wasn't there, though. "Whatever..."  Y/N thought as she finished her food. "Uh. Hey, Y/N! I can't help but notice that you're a bit...gloomy. What's wrong?" Brumm asked. Y/N looked at him and replied, "Heh. Nothing! Just...tired. Thanks for asking, though!" Brumm nodded. "Mhmm. Whatever you say! Goodnight." He said. Y/N smiled sheepishly. "Yea...goodnight."

Once Y/N was ready for bed and assured that she was alone, she cried. "H-he doesn't trust me! No, no! He was probably drunk again. He probably didn't know what he was doing..." Thoughts like those were swarming in her mind. In fact, all other concerns about herself had vanished. "Wait-could he be Nightmare King?! Wait. No. If he were really him, he would have attacked me by now..." It wasn't long before she had drifted off into a deep sleep, dreaming about everything being perfect again.
