Two weeks past. It was all perfect! Y/N and Grimm spent a lotta time together, and Grimmkin were actually doing their work! How amazing is that?! But then realization hit Y/N-how long had she actually been here?! To answer it, she did the obvious-math. She calculated-lol jk. She asked Grimm. "Hey, Grimm? How long have I actually been in Hollownest?" She asked. The question clearly caught Grimm off guard, because he froze for a sec. "Uh...quite a while I guess..." He answered, keeping his gaze on the ground. Y/N gave him the 'are you serious? Because I am.' look. Grimm returned it with a 'What do you expect from me?!' look. Y/N laughed quietly. "Mhmm. Okay. I see...do you at least have an estimate?" She asked. Grimm hummed. "Well, at least three months I guess..." He said. Y/N froze. Three. Whole. Months?! "What? Feels like...um.....two...days?!" She exclaimed. Grimm chuckled. "Well, ya asked me~" He said. Y/N rolled her eyes. "Well I suppose you're right..." She mumbled loud enough for him to hear. Grimm nodded. "Yes, yes...we should probably find a way to get your home now, right?" He asked. Y/N looked at him for a brief moment. "Are. You. Serious?! I love it here! Nobody even cares that I'm gone." She said frantically.
Grimm looked at her for a long moment before saying, "What? I'm sure someone cares..." Y/N looked at him and shook her head. "Heh. Nope." She then waved her phone in the air. "I've had my phone the entire time. No body texted or called." She said. Grimm gave her a confused look. "What's a.....phone?" He asked. Y/N giggled. "Oh! It's a........device that is used for people to communicate. Nobody reached out to me since I got here." She explained. Grimm nodded in understanding. "Ah. That must hurt a bit..." He commented. Y/N shook her head. "Nope! Now that I'm here with you and the troupe, I don't care at all about what other humans think!" She said. But both of them knew that deep, deep, deep down, it did hurt.
Grimm knew that, but didn't really want to bring it up. "So, uh...what would you like to do now?" He asked, trying to change the subject. "Ah! Actually, my friend Quirrel has invited me and you to his home! We're supposed to go in about an hour." Grimm gave her a questioning look. "Hm? Remember? Quirrel? The bug who gave me the nail I used to stab Nightmare King?" She reminded. "Ohhhhh yes. I remember. So, should we meet up outside in an hour?" Grimm asked. Y/N hummed. "Yep. Alright! See you then!" She said before walking out. Grimm nodded. "Okay."
Y/N changed her clothes to a formal black shirt and dark red pants. She then tied her hair in a ponytail and done! Grimm didn't care enough to change his clothes, but packed a nail in case anything went wrong. Either with any infected bugs or Quirrel. They both met outside, ready to go!
