Chapter 11

"So, Y/N, how do you find your room?" Grimm asked. "Haha...I love it! Again, thank you for....this." She said. Nither of them had ever started a conversation, so it was awkward. "Um. Nice dining room..." Y/N said trying to start a chat. Grimm hummed. "Thank you. So tell me.....what is your home like?" He said. "Um. Well,-" Y/N was cut off by a "Here you go! Food! Yum." A grimmkin said as it swooped by, dropping plates of food. Y/N could have sworn that she heard Grimm growl in frustration, but brushed it off. "Right when I was beginning to get a conversation. Great." Grimm thought. When Y/N saw what she was eating, she was astonishing! It was (favorite dinner food)! "Wow, Grimm! You really do know what humans eat!" She said. Grimm was unbelievably happy that Y/N had liked it. Finally, FINALLY, Grimm realized what he was feeling-love.

*Time skip to after dinner*

"I can't believe it-I'm in love with Y/N. No! She's a human....I-I can't. What if she doesn't love me back?! But...I need her to stay..." Grimm was having a mental breakdown. He was pacing his room frantically. "Does she even like me? What does she think?! Maybe she's still scared! What if she doesn't like her room? Or-" He was cut off by a knock at his door. Grimm sighed before saying, "Come in." When the door opened, Y/N stepped in and Grimm blushed but hid it.

     "S-so, Y/N,how are y-you?" He asked. "Woah. I've never seen him shudder like that before...cute! Wait-what?!" Y/N thought. "I'm good!" She replied. Grimm smiled before saying, "Haha! G-glad to hear t-that! So what b-brings you here?"
"Come on, Grimm. You're totally shuddering." He thought angrily. "Well, I met another little creature...they were ..." Grimm really didn't pay attention to what she had to say after he heard the word 'he'. "Could she be in love with him and not me?! No! That can't happen!" His train of thought was cut off by, "Grimm? Are you okay?" Grimm snapped back to reality.

He just stared at Y/N for a few seconds before saying, "O-oh? Yeah. I'm fine! Sorry for...whatever you saw..." Y/N was confused by his words, but smiled and said, "Yes. And that little ghost is coming to see you tomorrow! So, goodnight!" She said. It tore Grimm's heart apart seeing Y/N leave, but he had more important things to think about. He managed to say, "Goodnight Y/N!" Before she left, but then immediately sat at his desk and thought, "So...a new character is being brought here, hmm? I'll make sure to make Y/N fall in love with me before it arrives. Prepare yourself, Y/N!"
