Chapter 46~The End

        NKG glared hard at her for a moment before turning away, pressing his hand slightly harder on Y/N's chest. There was a long silence. "Uh. What." Y/N thought. NKG then stood up suddenly, causing Y/N to fall backwards. "Ok." He said. She stood up and looked at him. "What?" She asked. NKG glared hard at her. "I said ok. Don't make me change my mind." Y/N didn't reply. NKG looked pleased and confused at the same time. "Alright. I was nice knowing you. Goodbye now." He quickly said. Before Y/N could reply, a blinding flash of light clouded her vision.

*scene change to Howling Cliffs*

            A figure emerges from the rocks. Another human. Their name was...uh. Let's just call her.....Spirit. Sure. Why not. Spirit loved to explore. She had been to Hollownest when she was around fifteen, but because of the infection, she fled in fear. But now Spirit was eighteen, and nothing was gonna stop her from exploring it now! "Hollownest, Hollownest..." She whispered. "Prepare yourself. I'm coming now!!" Right when she was about to jump down below, a red cloud of smoke appeared in front of her, causing Spirit to stumble backwards. Her eyes widened when she saw the tall figure in front of her. "N-Nightmare King?!" She exclaimed. He nodded. "Heh...long time no see-woah!" He was cut off by Spirit hugging him tightly, smiling. "Where in the universe have you been?!" She whispered. NKG returned the hug. "Waiting for you to return, Spirit." He said.

*bacc to Y/N's POV.*

             When the light cleared, Y/N saw a familiar figure. "G-Grimm?..." She asked, stunned. He looked down at her and hugged her. Y/N immediately returned it. "Grimm! Wha-where were you?! Nightmare King just let me out! Why?!" She exclaimed. Grimm laughed softly. "I have a feeling that he has found his place now, Y/N." He replied. "What." Y/N said. Grimm sighed. "He won't bother us anymore. Oh! And that book..." He said, pulling out the book. "I was reading about ways to stop or postpone the ritual..." Grimm explained. Y/N nodded. "Oh." She whispered. Grimm then literally just t h r e w the book behind him. "We don't have to worry about that! Let's spend some time together, shall we?" He asked. Y/N wanted to ask why he yeeted the book, but shrugged and nodded.

"And I found a way to get you back home lol." He quickly added. Y/N laughed. "Don't think we'll need that spell anytime soon." She said. Grimm smiled. "Even when Ghost brings the child back, all I have to do is follow the steps and p o o f." He said. Y/N looked at him. "So...the answer was in there? Like, straight up, 'Here is how to postpone the ritual'?" She asked. Grimm laughed oddly. "It took quite the while to figure it out. It was anything but straight forward." He replied. Y/N sighed and nodded. "Now we can finally spend some time together without any worries..." She said. Grimm nodded. "Yes, Y/N. Race you." Her eyes widened. "Wha?-" Before she could finish, Grimm was ten feet in front of her, running. "I'll get you! Ha!" She yelled before sprinting off to spend time with her lover.

*Meanwhile with Ghost...*

"Done. The child is mine, Grimm." Ghost thought while looking at Grimmchild. "I'm a better father than my dad! Goal achieved."
