Chapter 39

           The figure immediately dashed over to the book and picked it up. "But...why would she do this?..." He thought. Yep. It wassssssssss Grimm. He studied the book with trembling hands. "Why, Y/N..." He whispered. Grimm went into the tent, avoiding contact with anyone. Soon, he was in his room. Grimm then out on a fake smile and walked out of his room, with the book. Grimm made his way to the main area and said, "Don't worry. I've found the book..." He looked around for Y/N, but found her nowhere. Grimmkin smiled seemed to be relived as well. Some cheered quietly while others just left. Grimm immediately went back into his room, calling Brumm. "Master, where did you find the book?" Brumm asked. Grimm sighed. "It was outside...I'm.........not sure why. I would like to tell Y/N! She wasn't there earlier. Could you please call her?" He asked. Brumm nodded. "Alright. She'll be here soon." He said before walking out.

          There was a knock at Y/N's door, making her jump a bit. "Yes? Come in." She said. Brumm opened the door, stepping in slowly. "Hey, Y/N...Grimm would like to see you now!" He said. Y/N blinked and laughed nervously. "Sure!...but didn't you know why?" She responded. Brumm shrugged. "I dunno." He said. Well, he knew, but he assumed that Grimm wanted to tell her. "I see...alright. I'll go!" She said. Brumm nodded. "Okay. See you!" He said. They both stepped out. Brumm went to...wherever and Y/N started nervously making her way to Grimm's room.

Y/N shyly knocked at Grimm's door. He opened it quickly, pulling her inside. "Grimm...I'm sorry just let me explain-" She was cut off by a hug. "What the-..." She thought, surprised. "Grimm? What?..." She said. Grimm pulled back. "I know why you did it, and I don't blame you...I understand what I did a couple days ago was wrong...I just couldn't bring myself to tell you what I was reading about...it was too soon." He said. Y/N smiled softly. "Grimm, I'm so sorry...ya know, you have every right to be mad at me..." She admitted. Grimm shook his head and laughed. "Nah...I honestly just really missed you...and I promise that I'll tell you everything! Once I'm ready..." He said. "It's fine! Take all the time you need...I'm sorry...I really am!" She replied. Grimm smiled. "You really should stop saying 'sorry'." He mocked. Y/N giggled. "So we're good?" She asked. Grimm responded by kissing her. "We're good."

The two admitted how much they missed each other, therefore leading up to them snuggling together on Grimm's bed. They were like that for quite a while, causing them to s l e e p. Even when both of them woke, they still stayed in that position. Altogether, it was probably four hours, until Grimm and Y/N came to their senses of time and got up. "Well, Y/N. We should do that more often!" Grimm said. Y/N laughed. "Yep. Well, I gotta go now." She said, looking at the time. "Oh, and where?" Grimm asked. Y/N shrugged. "No where in particular. I just want to take a stroll...are you free?" She asked. Grimm nodded. "Mhmm. No work for the next two days!" He said. Y/N laughed. "Let's go then!"
