Chapter 24

Y/N woke up to talking. And it was not the type of talking that calms you down. It was more like the type that worries you. So Y/N got up immediately only to fin that Grimm wasn't there. "What's going on?!" Y/N thought as she quickly got ready. She ran out of her room and followed the voices. Finally, she reached a...wall. "What?" She muttered. Y/N pressed her ear against the wall. Yep. The talking was definitely coming from in there. "How? Grimm would have told me about some secret wall-room...right?" She breathed. Like the movies, Y/N felt around on the wall until she found a button. "Woah. Cool!" She thought.

             Y/N didn't hesitate: she stepped right in the room. Well, quietly of course. And. She. Immediately. Regretted. It. NKG and Grimm were fighting. Like, fighting-fighting. And worst of all, NKG was winning. Grimm was gasping for air while standing up and trying to fight. It really pained Y/N to see him like that. "Uh. Ummm! I gotta do something. Anything! Uh...hurry up!! Aha!" Y/N thought. She ran as fast as she could and grabbed the nail that Quirrel gave her. "Here we go." Y/N dashed back to the room. Without hesitating, she silently walked up behind NKG and stabbed him. He stopped suddenly and fell to the floor, clutching his side. Grimm gasped and looked at Y/N, relief and shock showing in his eyes. "Curse you, Y/N. I'll get you soon~" NKG screamed before vanishing.

                Grimm ran over and hugged Y/N. Tightly. "Why did you do that...why did you come?..." He asked between breaths. Y/N sighed. "You were hurt. And I had this nail that my friend Quirrel gave me. So, I used it." She explained, returning the hug. "You could've gotten hurt." Grimm whispered. "You were already hurt." Y/N said. Grimm went silent. "See?" She whispered. "Well, you put yourself into even deeper trouble. More than me." He said. Now, Y/N went silent. Grimm chuckled. "I guess what I mean to say is....thank you." He said as he pulled away. "Though, why didn't you tell me you had a secret room?!" Y/N asked. Grimm laughed. "Honestly, I wasn't aware of this area until Nightmare King teleported me in here!" He said. Y/N laughed. "Hm. Understandable." She said as she got up. Grimm did the same. "Haha...okay but seriously. Nightmare King is after you now. I really, really don't want you getting hurt." He said. Y/N sighed. "I know...we'll think about that later. I mean, it's ten in the morning!! Let's chill out, talk. You know." She said. Grimm nodded. "Come on then. Tea?" He asked. Y/N smiled and nodded.

Grimm got them some Ginger tea. They were in Grimm's room, since no one really came in there. "So, what do you wanna talk about?" Y/N asked, sipping the tea. Grimm thought about it for a while. "Wait-you said that you were given that nail from someone named Quirrel. Who are they?" He asked. "Aww~you jelly?" Y/N asked teasingly. Grimm was genuinely not. "No. But seriously. Who are they?" He asked, pleading. Y/N could tell he was serious. "Hm okay. Well, when I first arrived, he was the one that greeted me. You know, like told me where I was. That was really it..." She explained. Grimm sipped his tea and nodded. "Mhmm...okie. Now what." Both of them thought about that. "Uh." Was all Y/N could respond. "Well-" Grimm was cut off by a Grimmkin knocking at the door. "Master? Uh. You're required outside..." And then left quickly. Grimm had a look on his face that said, 'What the actual-' Y/N giggled. "Nah, it's alright. You can go!" She said. Grimm smiled sadly. "Another time, okay Y/N?" He asked. Y/N nodded. "Another time."
