The tone of his voice had something to it that Y/N couldn't figure out. "Yes. I'm angry. Let. Me. Go." She demanded. "No." NKG said. "Please." Y/N replied bitterly. "Nuh-uh! Say 'please' nIcElY." He said. "Oh. He not protecc but he atacc. Most importantly, he's not gonna send me bacc." (I'm not sorry) Y/N mentality laughed at the thought. "Okay fine. *sigh* Please?" She finally replied. NKG pretended to consider it for a while when he already knew the answer. "No." He said. "No surprise there." Y/N thought. "What do you want from me now?!" She asked, annoyed. He didn't say anything. Instead, he snapped his fingers and the room went dark. Again. Oof. NKG disappeared in a puff of smoke and she was freed from the ropes. "Ugh. Typical." Y/N murmured.

She got up from the ground and began to walk. "Darkness...nothing for miles. Again." She thought. Y/N pinched herself. "Heh, still dreaming!" She thought happily. "So~gaining confidence, dear?" NKG called from somewhere. "Don't call me that." Was all Y/N had to say. She heard a chuckle. "Mmhmm, sure." He said. "Again with the sarcasm." Y/N thought. Suddenly, she was forbidden to move. Then, a bright light came in front of her, showing NKG standing next to a very-much-dead Grimm. Y/N let out a shaky gasp. "This isn't real is it?!" But no. It was very real. Well, I mean, it looked and felt real. If Y/N took some time to really think, maybe she could see that there was no way that this could be real, but too many other thoughts were swarming her head. "What. Did. You. Do?!" Y/N yelled. NKG did nothing but smirk. Y/N's eyesight became hazy. The last words she heard were, "Like I said: I can make this your worst nightmare in a snap~"

Y/N shot out of bed, gasping. "Ah-Y/N?! What the-woah. Are you alright?" Grimm asked, startled. Y/N didn't respond. She was curled up in a ball crying. Grimm immediately went over to her. "Hey, hey...what's wrong?" He asked, concerned. Y/N hugged him. "He-he-you were..." She said between breaths. Grimm sighed. "Don't worry. I'm here, you're here, everything's fine..." He whispered. But Y/N had a feeling that....never mind. She didn't want to believe it, anyway. "I know...it was j-just so real and he..." Y/N trailed off at the last part, because she didn't want to say it out loud. Grimm had a look in his face that said, 'I understand. Can't blame you.' Y/N sighed and pulled away. Grimm smiled sadly and wiped away tears and kissed her cheek. Y/N smiled and picked him on the lips. "Aww. Thanks." She said. "I've been having dreams like that. You know...with Nightmare King and all. He somehow pries his way into you and finds your fear. Just...don't worry. As real as they seem, they're just nightmares." Grimm said. Y/N smiled. "Thank you, Grimm. Now, should we get back to sleeping?" She asked, snuggling into his arm. Grimm laughed and pulled both of them into the blanket. "We shall." He said. Y/N giggled. "Goodnight, Grimm." She said. "Sweet dreams, Y/N!"
