Chapter 18

"Uhm. I need to go to Doc Magat for my checkup later at 12 noon." Mahinang sabi ko kay Xavier nang buksan na nya ang front door.

He stopped for a second before he went out and I didn't tried to follow him because I know he will only shout at me for being too pushy.

I sighed before putting the plates in the sink. I think narinig naman nya ako and his silence means he lets me go. It's for the baby anyway.

Pagkatapos kong maghugas ng mga plato ay pumasok na ako sa banyo para maligo. My baby is now 4 months that's why she is now very visible and I don't intend to hide her because I am proud of having her despite being a fruit of my stupidity.

I just wore a simple pink blouse, black leggings and flats before putting my long hair in a ponytail. I didn't wore any makeup as it only irritates me then I took my handbag and when I went out of my room, the doorbell rang.

Binitawan ko muna ang handbag ko bago binuksan ang pinto and maybe because of being locked in this unit for almost a month, I was so glad in seeing Jago.

I quickly hugged him which cause him to laugh a little before he hugged me back.

"It's so nice to see someone aside from Xavier and Hugo." Sabi ko nang humiwalay ako sa yakap.

He smirked at me before he glanced at my growing baby. His smirk slowly fades as he touched my belly which caused me to flinch a little. Nakakapanibago na may ibang tao ang humahawak sa baby ko bukod sa akin and how I wish Xavier would do the same.

"He's getting bigger." He said in a low voice before he removed his hand but his eyes are still on my stomach.

"Yeah." Naka-ngiting sabi ko.

Jago tore his stare on my stomach before giving me a smirk so I rolled my eyes at him.

"Xavier's at work." Sabi ko but his smirk is still visible so I crossed my arms and arched a brow.

"I know and he's not the one I am visiting."

"I am married already and having a baby, Jago. Whatever we had before is already done kaya--"

"Ang dami mong sinasabi. I am here to visit the baby, not you." Sarcastic nyang sabi kaya napa-iling na lang ako habang nanatili syang naka-ngisi sa akin.

"Alam ko naman iyon, Danae but I am still here for you, okay?" Dagdag pa nya kaya napa-ngiti ako bago tumango.

"I really love to catch up with you but I have an appointment with my OB." Sabi ko and the moment his smirk widened, I rolled my eyes.

"Can I come?"

"No."

"Please, Danae. I'm so bored in my life so let me come with you."

"If you're bored then go and jump in a cliff or bother someone else."

"You know I won't stop bothering you."

I groaned before I turned my back to him and grabbed my handbag before locking the door behind me. I looked at him deadly while he just remained smirking at me.

"You will treat me our food, Jago." Sabi ko sa kanya nang sumakay na kami sa elevator.

"No problem as long it is for the queen and her baby." Sabi naman nya kaya napa-iling ako.

"Here's your baby, Daniella." Naka-ngiting sabi ni Doc Magat bago iniharap ang screen sa akin kaya mabilis kong ibinaling ang atensyon ko doon.

"Here's the head, then these are the arms and feet." Sabi pa nya habang tinuturo isa-isa ang parte ng katawan ng baby ko.
