Riddhi tried to compose herself, but receiving a pillow bomb to her stomach wasn't a very small deal either.

She inhaled heavily, the air barely passing through her lungs. Before she knew it, she was lying on the floor, her own pillow exploded in a tornado of feathers. She was laughing soundly, her lungs barely containing her chuckles and her beathing at the same time. Becca was chasing Kate with another pillow lifted in the air behind her own head.

Karigan was screaming with laughter as Isa pummeled her again and again with another white pillow, feathers flying in the air with a whirlpool shape. They flew everywhere, covering Isa's face, but Riddhi had the feeling she was smiling for the first time in months. And Riddhi was happy she did, it was about time she did, actually. Riddhi composed herself and tried to stand up, but her legs wobbled as she did so she couldn't manage to get upright.

Kate managed to dodge Becca's assassin pillow throw and offered Riddhi a hand.

"Come on." She lifted her and laughed as she spit out a feather from her mouth. Riddhi finally came back to her senses and grinned as Becca came back with her pillow above her head like a warhammer ready for battle.

"I'M GONNA BREAK YO ASS!" She yelled and Riddhi opened her eyes wide as she braced for impact, not knowing that her own hands were reacting to the pillow.

She hit Becca with the pillow on the head, hard. As she stumbled backwards, Riddhi just had to lift her arms up in triumph.

"NOT TODAY, BITCH!" She shouted and laughed. Becca rubbed her head and laughed as well, pushing Riddhi backwards, making her knit her eyebrows together, but not changing the wide smile on her pretty face.

Karigan spoke up from beneath a layer of feathers. "I'm HUNGRAY!" She whined, her stomach rumbling. She stood up as she didn't receive an answer, and dusted the feathers off her clothing and body.

"Oi! I'm gonna check the fridge." She walked out of the room with a marked pace, decided to go eat something or anything that didn't eat her first. They could hear her footsteps outside, and the opening of a fridge, accompanied by the moving of glass containers.

"Are you gonna come or what?" She yelled from there, as she searched for something to eat. Kate jumped up and helped Isa to her feet. Becca and Riddhi walked out the door behind them, leaving Karigan's room a feather wonderland. Riddhi pitied whoever had to clean that up, whom would probably end up being Karigan herself.

They exited the room, both in a single file and talking nonstop to each other. They dispersed when they entered the living room, Karigan still in the kitchen snooping around her own fridge for something nice to eat. Kate let herself stumble on the couch next to Riddhi, who also fell on it like a heavy rock. Becca sat with her arms streched, Isa sat beside her, with her hand on top of the other, doing some sort of nervous movement.

Kate sighed deeply, and reclined on the edge of the couch. "Where's the food?" She whined, in a playful tone that made all of them smile.

Karigan responded from inside the kitchen. "Well if you'd move your lazy ass off the couch and help me maybe I'd be just finished."

Kate laughed softly. "Nah, I'll leave it for you, peasant." They all laughed, even Karigan, whose laughter erupted from the kitchen like water poured out of a glass.

A soft smell erupted from the kitchen, that would have probably made them all float towards the kitchen if they could.

Kate texted stealthily, her fingers sliding around her phone.

Hurry up!
