Jai pulled Riddhi by the hand, forcing her to get on the roller coaster. But she didn't want to, she was too scared of the loops, ups and downs and the zig zagging upside down to actually get on it right now. And yet Jai pushed Riddhi to get on it, James and Karigan happily eating a cotton candy behind them, laughing at the comical scene. Both of them shared the same pinkish sugary cotton candy, each one of them holding it with one hand.

The carnival sounds exploded around them, the munching of corn dogs and cotton candy, the beeping of a winner and the laughs of drunken groups whom shared a large teddy bear won at a ball throwing contest. The sounds of mechanical systems operating erupted around them, mixing with the soft colored lights of the attractions.

Laughter everywhere, clowns making balloons for smiling children and face painting movements that colored a happy couple's face with matching heart drawings were only some of the many sounds and movements they could see. A large ferris wheel expanded up to the sky, almost touching the white clouds.

"Please, just once, I promise I won't let you fall." Jai insisted, trying to convince Riddhi of getting on the roller coaster that also extended up to the sky. People screamed happily as a small car carried them over the rail tracks.

"No, you know I'm scared of heights." She declined the invitation every time it came up.

Jai just pleaded with his puppy dog eyes. "Please, please just once."Why won't you go alone?" She asked him, curious, and barely resisting his puppy sparkling pleading eyes.

"Because I won't have anyone to hold on to." He winked at her.

Riddhi was the first to get in the small roller coaster car.

James turned to Karigan, as they both got into their seats in the car behind Riddhi and Jai, whom were getting cozy enough to heat an entire room. Well, Jai was at least. He placed his muscular arm around Riddhi, whom was shaking lightly as Jai retracted his arm because safety gear was placed on the, thick and black.

He then looked at Riddhi, whom was sweating lightly. Jai grabbed her hand and softly moved his fingers inside hers. It was a light and warm touch, that sent electricity up both their spines.

"Babe, please, trust me. I'm your boyfriend after all." He smiled reassuringly at her, as she felt his hand in hers.

Boyfriend. It sounded so weird when he said it openly. It sounded happy, yet somehow it just wasn't right. As if it was never meant for Riddhi. It sounded so unusual. So, strange...

She shook her head.

Bullshit. He had asked her, and she had said yes.

The mechanics of the roller coaster started to function as the attraction started working. It was beginning to move, and Riddhi's thoughts started to swirl in a whirlpool of nervousness and shakiness, caused by her fear.

Riddhi was trembling softly, but reassured by the warm grip of Jai's hand, she stood in place and did not say anything.

They started climbing upwards.

It was half time and Daniel couldn't be sweatier.

He had a white shirt on, with the black number '12' on the back. His soccer shorts were black as well, yet his socks were white. He was sweaty, the balls of liquid dropping off his muscular arms and dripping off his piercing, that glistened under the sunlight. He walked over to where the audience was sitting, and Kate waited for him, sitting down, opposite to the standing and yelling position she had had during the entire game.
