Well, fuck.
It was Thursday, and James still couldn't forgive Jai.
Well, it was an accident, and he knew it, but could he behave as if he knew it as well.
Jai was kissing Riddhi on the lips softly, against a locker, his arms caging her against the wall. She didn't seem to mind too much, she was just enjoying the moment. Riddhi had her hands behind her back while they kissed. It wasn't a French kiss, more of a soft kiss to the lips, in a soft and endearing way. James and Karigan walked passed them, and the air between them became so much more awkwarder.
They were hand in hand, their palms pressed against each other's, the warmth extending throughout both their bodies. Both of them were facing the floor, and just Karigan was blushing softly. James felt like a complete idiot, he had just come so close. As he turned his gaze to look at her soft and cute profile, with her hair pulled up in a messy bun, his chest hurt of how beautiful she seemed to him. Because in his eyes, well, she was the most beautiful girl ever.
They walked the school hallways, both of them in complete silence, but in denial to let go of each other's hands. This was so awkward, words couldn't describe it. Karigan had no idea it had been set up for her, not Riddhi, and yet she knew something was up. But she thought James had been planning something for her. Don't get her wrong, she was so happy for Riddhi and Jai, but she was also somehow disappointed.
She had really hoped it had been for her, because she'd say yes in no time. And she was aware James liked her, maybe if it was just a bit.
He, on the other hand, felt like ripping his hair off.
Dammit.
Why did she have to be so insanely gorgeous? It would ease things up if he didn't have butterflies in his stomach everytime he saw her. And he couldn't take it anymore.
James pulled her into a small alley that connected two hallways, it was dark and alone, so no one could hear them. He just couldn't take it anymore, it was too much. He grabbed her by the shoulders and pasted her on the wall.
"Look, Kari, the thing is..." James was frozen. He did not consider making it this far.
He sighed. It was now or never.
"The whole set up was for you."
Karigan looked at him as if he had just gone insane. "Jai was gonna ask me...?" Don't get her wrong, he was undeniably attractive, he just wasn't... James.
"No. I was gonna ask you. Because... well... I..." James stuttered nervously as Karigan blushed pink and smiled at his red and blushed up face. He looked like a nervous tomato.
"You like me, don't you?" She asked, shyly, hoping it was the truth.
But James said otherwise. "No..." Karigan's eyes fell to the ground, her heart slowing it's rapid beat and her blood stopping rushing.
"I.. love you." The words slipped out of his mouth, and he didn't have time to think about it.
Karigan just blushed harder and leaned forwards, pressing her lips against his in a endearing and soft kiss.
James was the happiest man on Earth.

Isa was in a dress, and she couldn't feel more out of her comfort zone.
Her legs were freezing, she couldn't feel her cheeks and she felt so... naked. The black dress fell to her lower thighs, and she kept pulling it down, to cover as much skin as possible. Because, well, her thighs were covered in self-harm scars, and the last thing she wanted was people seeing them. She wore black eyeliner, and a long black thin sweater that barely kept her away from the cold weather.
