Characters: Wanda Maximoff x Reader, mentions of Tony Stark

Warnings: being on the run, skinny dipping, fluff

Summary: You and Wanda are on the run, and no matter how much she doesn't want to put you in danger, you're not leaving her. So, you just have to make do with what you have.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After traveling for so long without a rest or even a bathroom break, you and your girlfriend stepped into the cabin that Tony was so generous to lend you two. It's located deep in the woods and is protected by Jarvis which means you knew you would be safe here for the night. This cabin would have been a nice break for you and Wanda, if it wasn't for the fact that you two were on the run from very dangerous people.

You didn't have any power whatsoever, but Wanda did, and she was still getting used to using and containing them in public. It wasn't a big deal except for when she had to use them. People just didn't understand that she was doing the best she can, and sometimes, people get hurt along the way. Well, this time, the wrong person got hurt.

Wanda didn't mean to, of course, but the government of Russia didn't seem to care too much about that. She packed up her things and left even though she could have really taken on Russia and their goons. Being her girlfriend, you couldn't let her do this alone, so you had Tony tell you where she was through Jarvis. It wasn't fair that she had to run, but you weren't going to let her do it alone. What kind of girlfriend would you be if you had?

She was upset that you tagged along, but you wouldn't hear it from her. You decided that her problems were yours the minute you thought about asking her out.

"You know you still have time to back out if you want," she states after she closes the door behind her.

The interior of this cabin is so plush, you might think this is a real vacation.

"For the last time, I go wherever you go. It's as simple as that. I love you, which means you're stuck with me."

"How long do we intend to stay here?" she asks as she gets a good look around the place.

"As long as we need. This is better than motel rooms scattered along the interstate," you suggest.

This cabin is massive, and you walk along the length of it to get to the back door. You peel back the curtains to reveal a shiny lake sparkling under the moonlight. The water looks crisp and inviting, and you have the sudden urge to go swimming in it.

"There's a lake! Let's go swimming!" you giggle and throw open the back door.

"This isn't a vacation, Y/N," she sighs, but follows you, nonetheless.

"Why not? Tony did a good job hiding this place, and I know it's already stacked with food for the whole week. I say we relax because we've been running for days nonstop. I deserve a break. We humans tire easily," you pouted, and have her the puppy eyes.

"You're so dramatic," she laughs.

"Come on! It won't even be for long. Just a quick dip."

The lake is calling to you, and you don't want to resist the temptation. From the cabin, the path seems like an easy trail without hiccups or bumps. Note that you're close, you can see that there is a small cliff with the door being on the other side of the lake. Oh well, you've always wanted to go cliff jumping.

"We don't even have swimsuits."

"Yes, we do," you claim as you begin to undress in front of her. "We have our birthday ones."

"Y/N, we're going to get caught," she tried again even though she made no move to stop you.

"By who? There are no neighbors. Just relax and join me."

The air is frigid, and it makes your nipples stand up as soon as the cold air touches your skin. It isn't that cold, but your body isn't used to being exposed to the elements like this. You just know the lake is going to be warm.

"No!"

"Come on, give me one good reason not to jump into this lake."

"Because it's cold and you can get sick," she shrugs.

"That's why they have medicine!" you laugh and take off into a running start.

Wanda watches in concern as you jump off the cliff and into the lake. The water isn't as warm as you expected it to be, but it feels nice against your skin. Wanda walks to the edge and peers down at you with her arms crossed.

"Are you really going to let me swim by myself? A water monster could come up and grab me at any moment, and then what?"

"Fine! You're such a bad influence on me," she laughs.

She strips down to her birthday suit and does the exact same thing you did not moments ago. You swim over to her once she surfaces, and cling to her body. She uses her magic to float you two since it's hard enough trying to keep afloat with just one person.

"You made it," you grin.

"Because of you," she smiles.

Leaning in, you press your lips to hers all the while keeping your arms around her neck. She grips your hips tightly as she kisses you back. This may not be a vacation, but anything with her was considered one. You two could be dying, but you'd rather do that with her than anyone else. She provides you with something you can't buy at a store. Even if the Russian government were to catch you two, they couldn't take away the love she holds for you. She is truly the best thing that has ever happened to you.

And the best things in life are always free.
