It had been six months since she last saw Jonathan. Usually, the elder would pop down at the café for more delicacies and seeing him anywhere else is rather a strange sentiment. Ansel studied Jonathan's muscular figure. He wore a dark blue trench coat matched with a simple yellow shirt and a pair of black pants on the inside. Jonathan's fingers tugged in the pockets of his coat while his partially silver hair was combed neatly to the right. Ansel chuckled at the colour of his hair. They were beautiful and it suited his character, but Ansel would not risk dying her hair into two different colours.

Jonathan didn't seem to fancy the idea of speaking up at the moment. Ansel could see how tight his lips were sealed and wondered herself if there were an invisible duct tape across his mouth. When the bus arrived, Ansel merely pointed in silence before following the crowd up with Jonathan trailing behind her. Something seemed to be weighing down his mind. His head mostly hung low and his eyes were unfocused. It would be rude of her to assume, but Jonathan looked as if he hid something in between his coat and ready to use it as a weapon. Straightening her back, Ansel found a perfect seat for both of them. She pointed at the back seat of the bus, motioning for Jonathan to join her.

"So, Jonathan," Ansel started, studying his strong round jawline that stood out from his coat. "What's with the new hair colour? It's been so long since I last saw you. Are you here to visit Angelo? He hardly speaks about you these days and whenever I asked, he seemed to be a little distant about it. By the way, what were you doing around my university?"

She saw the elder chuckled at her questions. It was then she realized she had been throwing out too many questions at once. Brushing the tip of her nose, Ansel apologized, offering him a small chocolate bar she had in her bag. Graciously, Jonathan accepted it, tearing the tip of the wrapper gently and ate the chocolate. He hummed at the sweet taste melting in between his throat and licked his lips.

"Do you like it?" Jonathan questioned, digging his fingers in between his hair and patted them. "I decided to try on some new colours. Initially, it was supposed to be orange, but it reminded me of something unpleasant, so silver it is. I happened to be in the area," he stated firmly, pausing for a while and looked out of the window before nodding. "Yes, I am here to visit Angelo."

Ansel nodded. She had no intention in questioning further, but Jonathan seemed to be harbouring guilt in his chest. She could see him fidgeting in his seat, his fingers almost trembling while he held the wrapper tightly in his fist as if ready to punch the invisible enemy.

"I like the new look," Ansel finally answered. "I am sure Angelo will be happy to see you. After all, you are both good friends."

That was when Ansel heard Jonathan choking on his laugh. His head turned to the opposite side, staring out of the window and she swore she could hear Jonathan mumbling in a different language. She couldn't catch what he was saying, but he sounded upset and regret shone in his eyes when their eyes met.

Jonathan tried not to break down at the words. Angelo was more than just a friend, the elder is like his brother. He knew the situation would be less awkward if his utmost intention was for visiting. Jonathan never envied the idea of meddling into someone else's business, but what he saw in his visions were heart-wrenching. Crossing his arms together, Jon leaned his back on the backseat, staring out at the humans in the bus. He made a mistake by not alerting Angelo back then, so he is not making the same mistake now. He needed to make up to it, by letting Angelo know no matter how terrifying his visions were.

"How are you? How are things between you and Angelo?" Jonathan questioned, meeting her eyes. "I heard that both of you have been officially dating. Did he tell you everything about himself already?"
