Adjusting the belt around her waist, Ansel took a glance at the mirror in front of her and made a touch-up on her lipstick. The sound of music blaring from the outside and chatters around her increased immensely for the past half an hour. Her phone was kept in a silent mode to prevent it from distracting her. Slipping it into the side pockets, Ansel smiled at the sight of Annika dressed elegantly in a red and blue saree while she adjusted her earrings for the performance. Ansel reached out, patting Annika's shoulders gently to assure her that she would do well. She also made a promise that she will be there to watch her perform, that is if Crystal did not drag her to help in any other departments that needed the extra hand. Her dark red blazer fitted perfectly while the white badge stood out against it proudly.

"Ansel," Faris popped his head into the room, eyes lingering around to search for her in his majestic blue suit with a bowtie. "The buffet team is here to set up. They need you to verify the documents."

"Right," Ansel muttered, adjusting her eyeshadow one last time and headed towards Faris who waited outside with a list. "Did they bring the additional drinks we ask for? I am worried about it since we requested it at the last minute. It would really look bad on our committee if things are not in order. Did you give them the goody bags we prepared?"

"Yes, we did. Azhar distributed them evenly while I helped them to adjust the arrangements. The drinks are in order too. All we need now is the special trays for the representative of our university management and the VIPs," Faris spoke as they both quickened their steps to the venue.

Pushing past the other teams that are rushing around, Ansel managed to catch sight of the public address system team who seemed to have problems with the microphones. She hoped that they had extras stashed somewhere in the hall or else Miss Anong would probably set them on fire right at their very spot. The idea of holding an event both indoor and outdoor is exciting, but the preparations are tedious. She was glad to be part of the team and could help raise funds for the orphans living in a nearby orphanage. Shouting her way through with Faris to alert the other teams who were in a mess, they finally managed to make their way to the side of the halls.

As far as it went, everything seemed to be in order. She breathed out a sigh of relief when she saw that everything they needed was in complete order. She verified the documents, keeping one for filing and thanked the lady who handed the buffet. Working with professionals set a different mood since it saved a lot of thinking at some point. Ansel and Faris began to set out the drinks for the VIP seats, motioning for the other two members to distribute the pamphlets and goody bags. Seeing that they needed extra ladles, Ansel headed out of the hall to the storeroom to obtain what she needed. Once she obtained those, she rushed out, handing them to Azhar the second she heard someone calling her from afar.

"Can I get your help in registering the attendees?" Bryan questioned. "There were initially two of us, but Amanda is missing. She said she would turn up, but she is not there. I could use a hand since we are at peak hours and the VIPs could be arriving at any minute now."

Ansel hesitated at first, considering the workload from her team.

"Go ahead, Ansel," Crystal assured from behind, pulling up her purple dress as she walked up the stairs. "I am looking out for the performance team, so I can lend a hand to your team. Besides, the attendees' names are important so that we have enough fireworks for tonight."

"Alright then. I will get to it. Let's go, Bryan," Ansel said, unbuttoning her blazer to let some air into her attire. "How many of them are not here?"

"Majority of the students are not here, since they are more interested in setting up the fireworks," Bryan spoke, flipping through the papers. "There are five VIPs who are not here yet and the event is about to start, according to our schedule. I don't think the rest of them would tolerate the delay especially when the event is held at night."
