Taking the earliest bus had been the best choice. She panted, running through the halls as fast as she could. Once in a while, she glanced at the time on her watch. She would reach on time if it wasn't for the minor accident that occurred because of the careless motorcyclist who seemed to be too drunk to drive. Holding onto the handle of the door, Ansel twisted it opened only to have the whole group turning towards her direction. Her president was not amused by her lateness, but instead of questioning her, he motioned for her to settle down immediately since they were halfway through an important event.

Hobbling herself towards the only seat at the second row, Ansel took out her notebook as she began to write down the important notes on the whiteboard. The upcoming event focused more on charity issues, including a list of important people from different famous companies to collaborate with their university as sponsorships. As the chosen secretary, Ansel had lots to jot down. Her pen scribbled across the notepad attentively till she heard another knock by the door only to see Annika walking in with another boy. Her orange Punjabi suit matched the ribbon on her hair as she smiled, heading towards the seats at the opposite side.

"This event is huge, so we have decided to collaborate with both the cultural and dance clubs. Farhan informed earlier that he would not be attending because he had a competition in our neighbouring university. Annika here is representing the cultural club, so for those who are about to work with her, I want you to collaborate with her. You can discuss with her any ideas you have," explained Crystal clearly before moving on to the next slot.

Ansel was not surprised at Annika's presence. She knew that Annika had always been active in activities like this. She even represented their university for a cultural expo, participated in traditional dances and many others that she lost count of. The meeting went a little astray when they started dividing the students into smaller groups. Some were arguing about not wanting to be in the sponsorship team. Ansel understood the frustration. The sponsorship team is not cut out for everyone. She did not enjoy going around discussing sponsorship terms, so she had enrolled herself on the food bureau.

Heading towards the computer at the corner, Ansel typed out the minutes of the meeting, the remaining memo and the new list of participants for the upcoming event. They have exactly three months to prepare. The food bureau will be ready earlier than the others since it had been the easiest. There will be only three people in the team and it had been set that she would lead so she would wait for anyone who is willing to join her side. Making sure that there will be no mistakes in the paper, Ansel headed out to print out the previous meetings as she watched two students bickering about the position they wanted in the small team itself. It was complete chaos, but that is a part of the process.

"You are enjoying it a little too much don't you think," alerted Annika as she adjusted the orange scarf around her neck, sipping onto the small bottle of coffee she is holding. "I really envy you. They don't really put too much pressure on secretaries, don't they? As much as I love getting merit points in my certificates, I don't like the process of selecting my team because then the arguments will erupt."

Ansel laughed at her words, reaching out to pat her shoulders. "I don't remember you complaining. You enjoy the process a lot. This is not what you usually talk about. It's your tiredness. Once you are done with today, you will keep talking about how happy you are working with your team." Ansel stated as she nodded her head, reaching out to hand Crystal the printed papers and turned to look at Annika. "Just a couple more minutes and whatever you said earlier is not going to be marked in your history."

"Was that necessary?" scoffed Annika, joining Ansel on the soft couch as she folded her legs together. "Jokes aside, are you not going to apologize to your big brother? He seems rather upset about it. I don't know what you did the other night, but I have to agree with Jiang. We can't keep worrying about you. One day we are all going to have our own life. Do you even consider quitting it?"
