Drake and I reached the building. We were just waiting for Chris and Theo when a happy voice spoke.
"Hey there, Lizzy!"
"Pete?! Hey!" I said hugging him.
"You have to see the building. It's like a castle in here." Peter said excited.
"It sure is." Drake said proudly."It is where I was bought up."
"So you lived a castle your whole life? That's amazing." I said
Before Drake could speak...Peter interrupted.
"Come on Liz, let me show you around." Peter said dragging me.
"Okay. But wait until Chris and Theo comes. Then we all will go together" I said steadying his excitement.
"No, Elizabeth Harlow. You are coming with me right now." Peter said with a stubborn look. He can be quite overly childish sometimes.
"Ok. Ok. Let's go."I said. No one could argue with Peter once he's made up his mind.
"Hey Drake, Would you mind waiting for Chris and Theo? I am going ahead with Peter. Is it allowed to look around?" I requested.
"No not all I would not mind, and ofcourse you guys can look around. You go ahead, I'll wait for them. While you are done looking, come to the north-east corridor. We will be waiting for you there." Drake said.
"Thank you." I Said and went away with Peter.
As we went inside, I was astonished by the beauty of the building. It boasted the superiority, and its huge infrastructure. It was not an old or ancient it was just perfect for the modern world; with stone pathways and gardens, iron fence covering a huge pound with a statue in the middle. It was a statue of four people standing in a circle facing outwards.
Flowers filled the garden in the south, fished jumped and played in the pond, trees huge and fresh and beautiful. Nature and technique echoed throughout this place.
It had huge transparent ceiling making the sky look even prettier. Everyone were scrambling here and there. Much to my surprise, there were even computers. And not just any old computers, technologically advanced and improved computers just like what we have in our world.
People over here were too busy to notice our arrival, each and every one of them hurried as if they had the world's important jobs to do.
"Oh my god! This place is bigger and better." I said looking around
"Right? Everything in here is amazing and immaculate. Hurry up; there are so many things to see." Peter said
We were wandering through every corridor; we went up and down in every staircase; everyone was just staring at us. Probably they might be thinking we are some kind of lunatics. Every floor of the bureau was spik and span. They had everything; a heaven created with magic I suppose.
On the third corridor, there was no one, only one huge door at the end of the narrow passage. With the same phoenix painted on it.
"Hey Peter, check out this door!" I said as I went towards it to push it open.
Suddenly Peter pulled me back away from it and whispered.
"This is why I wanted you to come with me alone. I have something to say Lizzy. When I reached here before you guys, I was wandering from floor to floor. When I reached this particular door, many whispers and murmuring sounds came from it. As I went towards it, it suddenly wide opened. I instantly hid myself behind that wall and waited. After a few minutes, a group of people came outside, and guess what they were doing, they were talking about us."
