While Katherine and Drake were trying to fix the mixture Christina and I stayed put whereas Ethan went out to get something to eat, it was almost night time, and everyone was starving.

"Come on Drake! You are supposed to hold this not that." Katherine groaned in frustration.

"How am I supposed to know what 'that' is? Just by looking at your eyes?" He shouted back.

Even after shouting and yelling for every single minute, they seem to work just fine.

"So, what are you going to do after you get transformed?" Chris asked as we sat on a chair nearby. It was still annoying to talk with that mask.

"I still haven't figured that one out. But at this rate, chances of me surviving is next to zero." I joked in a serious tone.

"Hey, don't talk like that. I am sure these two nerd heads will figure something out and even if they don't they would call off the transformation." Christina told assuring.

"Speaking of nerds, can you believe that Drake is into biochemical? I mean Katherine seems like a good fit, but Drake? Seriously?" I laughed.

"I know right?!" Christina laughed back.

"Everything apart Chris, I am just glad you are here," I said satisfied.

"Yeah, me too." She smiled.

We just sat there for a while looking at Katherine and Drake intensely working. They were in perfect coordination with each other. Drake was working on the black substance whilst Katherine took out a book from the shelf nearby, supposedly a magic book. She was going through the book in search of the perfect spell. We initially thought of asking Olisen but we were unable to come in contact with him. Speaking of contact, though this place is technologically advanced than any other in this whole world, they don't use phones or walkies to talk. It's completely different here.

They use a method which they call it as magicae voco and it translates to 'magic to call' in Latin. So they, take an object belonging to the person they want to contact and say the spell for that particular purpose, and during this whole process, they must think of the information they are relaying so that the person can get to know it while the contact is being made. It's wonderful and interesting if you come to think of it. Of course, Ethan and I couldn't do it because we don't have magic within us and neither does Christina. Drake suggested that we take the help of Resilius Viktor but Ethan opposed saying that other than Olisen we couldn't trust anyone except for Michelle and Noah who unfortunately is out of town too. Weird, Olisen assured me they would be here.

So we are on our own in here and the best we could do is wait and hope I don't die in the process.

"Bought some loaves of bread and juices as everything can't be bought inside," Ethan said as he entered the room with some boxes of bread and five bottles of fruit juice.

"Wait. How are we supposed to eat it with our masks on?" I questioned.

"Ohh...Right!" Ethan said slyly with the thought just coming to his mind. "So we wait till they finish and starve still then." He sighed and put aside the boxes and bottles on a shelf.

"How far are they?" He asked approaching Chris and me.

"Drake still is working on to find the correct balance between the ingredients and Katherine is looking for the spell--"

Before I could complete my sentence Katherine yelled, "Found it!"

"You found it?" Ethan, Chris, and I rushed towards her.

"I am not entirely sure this spell would work, but it was specifically designed to contain a heavy force simultaneously speeding up the requires process," Katherine said looking at the readings written in the book.
