"What are you talking about? All this time I was terrified that you would ask me to go head on with the evil witch but now you are implying me to sit it out?" I was losing it. Somehow I did not like what Olisen said about me not going into the war. What is going?
"We did not bring you here to fight the war Elizabeth. You are not strong enough to survive it. That's why Ethan fought even harder so you don't have to even look at that direction."Olisen shook his head back and forth.
"I know I am not strong enough that's what I have been saying this whole time." I fired back. "Then why didn't you leave me in my own world i was better off over there. Protected like you said."
"Your transformation needed to be done Elizabeth. It was vital." Olisen pleaded.
"Needed to be done? You are saying as if there is another choice." I looked at Olisen. His eyes did not meet mine. "Or is there? There is another way isn't it? My transformation isn't a compulsory is it?"
"No it isn't" Olisen gulped. "But it is obligatory that you go through it."
"Obligatory? " I began to vociferate. "That is not your choice to make."
"You are right it isn't mine, but the least I could is voice my opinion." Olisen beseech ed.
"You are opinion? Really? Ever since I came here I have heard your opinions, your story, tough decisions you had to make in the name of survival and protection. I am done with it." I glared.
"You have every reason to be angry, but you have to understand that you going through the transformation is a necessity." Olisen entreated.
"I have had enough of this world and I am sorry to say but I won't go through with the transformation." I said stern. "Also just to be clear if I am not going to take part in the fight then why do I have to be transformed?"
"You and Ethan both got the power from nature and along with your blood bond you two are psychically linked with that power. So it is crucial that you mutually get your powers to attain the extent of it." Olisen appealed.
"So if I don't get my powers..."
"Ethan would not get his full powers, he wont be strong enough. Please Elizabeth it all lies in your hands." Olisen prayed.
I was in a tough spot. Though I have never met this person who is in fact my brother, empathy was playing its role. I couldn't let anyone down but I can't become a ball of fire either. I was indecisive. I needed choose soon. It was a dilemma. Everything that was happening here was unfocused, like at one point I wanted to yell at everyone responsible for putting me in the situation but I also wanted to help the. God, i would have traded anything to go back to the chaotic life I had if that meant I could escape this crazy world.
If I chose not to get transformed I might be the reason for their possible, on the other hand if I choose to get transformed it would be a straight pathway to my own self destruction.
I had one more question to ask before choosing.
"Did you want me to come back so that I could get transformed and Ethan could have his full powers or you just wanted me to come back home?" I asked vigilantly.
"Yes we wanted you to come back for your transformation...." Olisen began. I scoffed.
"...But more than that we wanted you to come back home, back to the place where you have always belonged. You see, Elizabeth when Ethan was born we were happy but the next minute we lost you. Hence after two years when we got you, our eyes shimmered with hope and redemption. You were our redemption,Elizabeth. You can despise us all you want for sending you away, away from your brother, away from your own identity but I don't regret that decision. All that mattered to me was to keep you hidden, out of harm's way and that's what I did. And now if we have brought you back and requesting you to go through a complete revolution change is because we have no other choice." His eyes were true. I wanted to believe him.
The truth is I felt a need to help them, a trust that everything's the way it's supposed to be. Some may say that the decision that I was about take was reckless and utterly stupid but it felt right.
"Okay. I will do it." I said looking at Olisen who was on the verge of losing hope again. I understand that he wants to make things right and it felt right to help him with it even though they were just complete strangers to me a few days ago. "I will go through the transformation."
