The sun had set a while ago as we carried on into the forest. "S-So this i-is the werewolf forest..."Mey-Rin stutters out"so creepy!" Finny yells"I can see why people say it's cursed...!" Bard says"Y/N,didn't you say you visited Germany?" I nod"I did. Though,I don't remember it looking like this." I answered"as a noble you probably stayed in the high end." I nod"I suppose you are right..."
"The compass is spinning." Sebastian says"there might be mineral resources buried around here." Ciel states"it might be the curse." Sebastian says glancing at us"don't you start now to." Ciel warns as I cross my arms"you literally have a demon as a butler." I admitted"and you have also met many Reapers." Sebastian adds"it's hard to believe that somebody like you does not believe in curses. Also,that which binds you and myself is a curse in a way." Sebastian states"witches are people who have been falsely assumed at rubbish trials. It's not like they can fly or summon storms. A curse is something else...supernatural if you will. It's more peculiar to believe in such things. Or that's what I believe."
"Ciel I respect your opinion and all of that,but the more you deny it something might actually happen." I point out as Ciel simply rolls his eyes"you read to many fantasy books." I stick my tongue out him and look the other way"says the one who reads more than me." Ciel stays quiet as I smirk and turn to Sebastian"Sebastian,have you ever met a witch before?"
"Yes in the past I have met with many people who call themselves witches." The black haired demon answers as Ciel let out a small laugh"so you were summoned and worshipped at witches' sabbath?"
"Summoning and worshipping demons. I don't think the real sabbath was held for those purposes. A place where insolent adults came to escape and from reality and themselves,I think that would be a more accurate image. Giving away your soul for a wish. If you are not prepared to give up your soul then you cannot summon us." Sebastian explains.
"You're..."Ciel start"what is it?" Sebastian asks glancing at us"nothing." The boy next to me says as Sebastian turns back forward"oh my. Young master I can see other buildings." Sebastian pulled up in front of the village and helped us out(well more like he helped Ciel out).
"There really is a village out in this forest." Ciel said in shock as we entered the village. "C-Ciel..."I stuttered out"i have a bad feeling about this village." Ciel didn't answer,thought he did acknowledge what I said because he pulled me close to him.
The village was quiet,oddly quiet.
"Maybe it was abandoned?" Mey-Rin hums.
"No. The houses have been taken nice care of. I'm certain people live here." Sebastian answers.
"Heyyyyy! Anybody herreeee?!" Finny shouts.
Not long later many women were sounding us,pitch forks and torches in their hands. Ciel grabbed onto my hand making me blush a little. "INTRUDERS! EVERYONE AFTER THEM!"
"Well isn't this welcoming." Bard groaned.
"HOW DID YOU GET HERE?! WHO ARE YOU?!" I glanced around to see all the women wearing a medallion around their necks,their dresses were very different than what I'm used to. Very medieval like.
"Tell then we wish to speak to the lord of this village." Ciel quickly says to Sebastian. "We wish to have a audience with your lord. We mean no harm." Sebastian explains"what?" One is the ladies asks.
"Lord they say...?
"MAYBE THEY ARE HERE TO HARM MASTER SULLIVAN!"
"Master Sullivan?" Sebastian asks.
"What are they-"Ciel starts but was cut off. "Shut up! YOU LOT MUST BE THE RATS!" A lady screams"a r-r-rat?! No we aren't-"Finny tries to explain.
"DONT LET THE RATS GET AWAY!"
"AFTER THEM!"
"DEATH TO THE RATS! DEATH TO THE RATS!"
"C-Ciel this is bad..."I whispered to him. "It's quite alright Y/N. If anything we are the safest ones here." I nod as a knew voice was heard,a high pitched voice.
"What is all this fuss about?!"
"M-Master Sullivan!"
The women then bowed their heads. "We're sorry to create such a ruckus! We shouldn't have let the intruders in!"
"Are you Master Sullivan?" Sebastian asks. "Indeed. I am Sieglinde Sullivan." I noticed a girl with long black hair,pale skin and green eyes being carried by a older man. The girl like all the other women was wearing a medieval like dress and lastly horn like head pieces rested in her hair. "I am the lord of this forest."
The older man got super close to Sebastian,almost like he was studying him. "Where did you come from?!" He growls"HUH?!" The girl then hit the man over the head"quite it Wolfram!"
"I'm sorry! It's just been a while since someone has showed up!" He apologized as the girl looks over at us,it was like she was studying us. I shifted uncomfortably,I might be ok around a lot of people but I don't like people staring at me.
"I don't know who you are,but the Wolfsschlucht village doesn't allow visitors. If you understand you'll leave immediately!" Wolfram yells"perhaps we should head back and think of a plan." Ciel states"I see. Well we shall be on our-"Wolfram cut off Sebastian. "I don't think you understand how lucky you are to have entered that forest without being unscathed." Wolfram says"what do you mean?" Sebastian asks"you probably heard about it. The werewolf that protects this forest."
In the end Sullivan invited us to stay only for the night. One of the ladies didn't seem to agree because she was screaming at Wolfram.
