I looked around the small village we had arrived in. The houses weren't as nice as back in England,but they seemed a lot cozier and more welcoming. People were carrying bags and children,some were talking with one another as well. "Ciel can we move here?" I hum tugging on his sleeve"why in the world would you want to move here?" He asks"because I like the cottagecore aesthetic." I plainly say"sometimes I wonder what goes threw your head." I huff and let go as I cross my arms"fine be that way. I'll move here without you." Not long later we found a man who(I think)sells carriages.
"Sebastian,what language is this?" Ciel asks"its East Franconian. A dialect of Southern Germany." Ciel turns around his eyes narrowed"THIS ISNT DIALECT ANYMORE! EVERYTHING I LEARNED WAS USELESS!" Sebastian let out a small laugh as he placed his right hand on his mouth"everyone starts with the basics young master." Ciel turned back to the man"s-so what is he saying?" Ciel asks clearly irritated. He says that he will not die from any witches curse,no matter how much you offer him he will not go." Sebastian answers"ask if he's seen anyone with the curse." Sebastian then proceeds to ask my question in German.
"Yep! Wasn't a pretty sight I'll tell ya. Their faces were all swollen and their skin got muddy like it was melting. They say one died while the other went off his rocker." The man said"and the one who survived?" Sebastian asks"he continued on to say the wolves were coming." The man answered"and where is he now?" Sebastian asks"he's the eldest son to the Briegels,they're a bunch of rich folks that live outside the village. Though he is no longer there. Officials came and took him away because they were scared of him being contagious. It's the same as dyin really." Sebastian then told us about the survivor as Ciel's blue eye widened"you're saying he saw the wolves?!"
"They're saying officials came and took him away to a hospital. Shall I check every hospital?" Ciel shook his head"no it's quite alright. If the survivor went insane there's no use in us trying to get him to talk. We should just head to the forest ourselves."
"However it seems he is not willing to give up a carriage no matter how much we offer." Sebastian admits"ask how much they cost." I simply say"it's obvious he wants money." In the end we ended up paying for two carriages,me and Ciel sat in one carriage as Sebastian gathered Bard,Mey-Rin,Finny,Tanaka and Snake.
