I followed the frail boy around the Phantomhive manor. "We aren't allowed to go out into the garden." He tells me"oh?" He nods"father has a guest." He walks over the railing and lays his arms onto it,I join him. "Do you want to come to my manor tomorrow?" I asked the boy"hm? O-Oh! I-I don't know if I can." He shyly says"m-mother and father do not let me out a lot because I'm sickly." I roll my eyes and grab his hand"that's stupid! You are more than capable!" His cheeks turned from a light pink to a bright red"I can talk to your parents about it later." The boy nods a soft smile on his face"I-I'd like that." He stutters as I smile and let go of his hand.
"What are you two up to?" I looked to Ciel walking over to us"oh hello Ciel." He smiles with a small wave as he walks over to his brother"it seems father has a guest over." He says as we watch Lord Phantomhive and his guest make their way to the garden. "We should go and check it out." The frail boy looks up at his brother"I-I don't know about that..."
Ciel looks over at me"Y/N,we should go then! Because my brother does not want to." I nod"of course! I like chaos!" I grabbed his Ciel's hand"ah! Wait!" Ciel stopped and turned"I-I'll come." Ciel let's go of mine and claps"yay!" Ciel then regrabs my hand as well as his brothers. "Let's go!"
Ciel dragged us out to the gazebo,a curtain was around the entrance to make a door. Ciel slapped a finger over his mouth signaling us to be quiet,Ciel grabbed the current and drug it back a little so we could see.
The guest looked over before looking back at Lord Phantomhive. "Sons of Phantomhive! Come on out!" Ciel giggled and rushed out"ah! C-Ciel!" His brother quietly shouted at the boy,his arm reached out.
Ciel rushed over to his father. "They are only scared because you look so angry."Lord Phantomhive explains"BUT IM NOT!" The man screams as Lord Phantomhive picks up Ciel.
"I am aware. You are a very kind and reliable chap." Lord Phantomhive reassures"what's with all the compliments?" The man asks"that is why I am sure that if anything ever happened to me,he would be there to help." I noticed his grip tighten around the curtain,I huffed and started to make my way over to them but he grabbed me.
"N-N-N/N! P-Please don't...!" His grip was weak,but it was enough to make me stop. I glanced back at the boy,his expression was frightened. His blue eyes held sadness though,he was hurt by what his father said. It was painfully obvious.
"Is that a order?"
"A request really!"
"Besides you think you'll really go before me?"
"Who can say for sure? The future is uncertain."
Lord Phantomhive and the man continued to chat with Ciel in his arm. I felt a tug on my hand,he pointed over to a hallway signaling he wanted to leave. I nodded and followed after him.
"Are you alright?" I asked.
No response.
"I think you should really come to my manor tomorrow,it might make you-"he jumped back and used his other hand to rub his nose"s-sorry...!" He quietly exclaims. He bumped into a man with long grey hair,deathly pale skin,a long black hat and dress,lastly his nails were painted black and long.
"Well who do we have here? If it's not a little Phantomhive and L/N~." This man startled me,so I grabbed the boys hand and yanked him behind me"now which one are you~?" He seemed to noticed my defensive behavior"oh I do not wish to harm him. Well I suppose from my stand point is does not matter." A smile came to his face"they are both humble Phantomhives."
"There you two are!" I looked to see Ciel rushing over. "Just don't leave without me." He pouts"b-but..."
"Oh nice to see you here mr.newspaper reporter! What brings you here?" The lean man purrs"this is the first time I've seen you both together in the same place!" The happier man went on about his job and why he was there.
"We should take a picture!" Ciel suggests tugging on his brothers sleeve"but I-"his brother smiled brighter causing the frail one to smile after him. He agreed and the headed to another room.
I watched as the two men prepared the camera,Ciel and his brother went over to the fireplace. They held hands as the shorter man prepared the camera. "Three...two...one!" After a couple of seconds a bright flash came on from the camera.
Ciel was happy and hugged his brother. "I can't wait to see it!" Ciel exclaims as his brother stayed quiet with a small nod"c-can I take a picture w-with N-N/N?" My eyes widened as I pointed to myself"m-me?!" He nods as I ran over to him"of course you can silly!" He blushes a little as the shorter man counts us down as we take the picture.
