Surprise update just because!

Lucy's POV

"Okay so we have time for a couple more questions from the audience..." the host said, checking his watch and then looking down at his phone. "I spotted a good one earlier, wait a sec..." he said, as he scrolled down his phone. "they're here in the audience right now...." he said, sounding like he was still trying to find who the person was. "ah here we go...uh, this is a question from a 'Sebastian's Stan' he read out and Charlie gasped. My mouth dropped. "Where are ya?" the host asked into the mic, and then that's when things began to blur.

My hands flew up to cover my face as "here!" Charlie squeaked, thrusting her hand into the air. She launched up out of her seat and beamed her crazy smile at the panel of actors. I however sunk down into my seat, totally oblivious to whatever her question was- but quite frankly I didn't care, I just wanted to blend into the rest of the audience- or better yet- for the ground to swallow me up.

But since that wasn't going to happen, I kept slumped low in my seat, with my eyes fixed on the one person I prayed hadn't recognized my best friend. But of course he did.

As soon as Charlie had stood up, I watched his wide smile falter slightly. His lips pressed together and his jaw clenched a little. His well built frame stiffened as he sat upright -the mirror opposite of the semi relaxed posture he had held for the previous hour or so. His brow knitted together over those perfect blue eyes- that at once they left my friend, glanced to her right, then her left and Bam! His pretty blue peepers were locked onto mine and I swallowed hard.

Chris' POV

It all seemed to happen so fast. We were taking questions from the fans, when a very familiar face appeared among the audience. Seb told me she was coming, but I didn't know she was coming to panel. If he had, then I would have been spending the whole thing distracted. Maybe he did me a favor. Up until now.

My brain shut off from whatever Charlie was saying, and instead I looked to who was sat beside her. Some blonde guy to her right, I took a sigh of relief. But to her left? Well Shit. Her eyes were looking back at me, I couldn't make out much else, but I knew that was her. I'd stake my life on it. Especially the way she bit her lip and looked away from me. Fuck. She is actually here.

Lucy's POV

I tore my eyes away briefly, embarrassed that he had spotted me, and fear because I didn't know what he thought of me. Not once had I realized he did still recognize me. But when I finally looked back up in his direction, Charlie had sat back down, waffling on to me about whatever the answer was she had gotten. But my eyes were still fixed on his. His on me. His brow unfurled and he sat back a little in his seat, raising his hand to run it through his smooth blonde hair. I found myself swallowing hard and shyly tucking my hair behind my ear as I glanced away again.

"thanks guys, everyone for being here for this panel...As always it's been awesome" the host spoke out loudly, beginning to wrap up the session. I finally looked up again, towards the guy speaking, but I could still feel them. Those gorgeous baby blues still staring at me. I fought it, the urge to look back at him, but I failed. Miserably. I looked back to his large muscular form but gladly a word from his colleague beside him- the one and only Thor- and Chris' eyes were torn from me.

"so I guess he knows you're here now huh" Charlie said to me, looking at me with concerned eyes. I shrugged a little nervously and chewed my lip. "but I guess Sebastian knows his lucks changed" I smirked at her and she giggled. "He knew I was coming here anyway" she laughed as my mouth dropped. "why does that surprise me right now?" I questioned and she shook her head in wonder. "come on, my stomach's growling" she said, shoving me in the side. "we only just got here" I whined at her, but she laughed; "I'm gonna need the energy for later" she snorted and I cringed at the images now swimming through my mind. "please don't talk any more" I warned her as we looked to grab our belongings. I heard Charlie giggling, and I started to smirk. And I don't know what made me do it, maybe the fact that I had momentarily forgotten about my own predicament, and I looked up. Up at the stage. And there he still was. But right opposite where we were sitting. Stood talking with Seb. "Shit." I whispered, my smile dissipating. "what?" Charlie questioned, before looking up herself.

He said something to Sebastian, who glanced in our direction and a look of surprise covered his features, "so you didn't tell him I was coming with you?" I asked Charlie, as we both sat staring at the men on the stage "nu-uh, because I had a feeling he'd tell him" she replied. Sebastian shook his head in response to whatever he had asked him and then they both looked over at us again. "I knew I shouldn't have come Charlie" I said, breaking the staring contest. "This was a total mistake" I said, quickly grabbing my bag and leaving my seat to push past everyone still seated in my row.

I felt numerous eyes on me for my bizarre behaviour, but I needed to get out. The way he looked back at me- I couldn't figure out what he was thinking. Those pale blue orbs that could stare straight into your soul. The same ones that had me crumbling when I first met him. Were the same ones that were the last pair to leave my body as he watched me race out of the hall.
