Ending - Dice ver.

You decided to watch the fireworks with Dice who has a nervous grin on his face right now, wow ain't he stiff walking beside you.

"Ahh... Daisu-kun, are you alright?" You gazed at him in concern.

"AHH— Me?! HAHAHA Of course I'm alright!" He exclaimed, making him look even more stiff.

Dice's chest felt tight but it wasn't painful or anything, the weird constriction occurring was not something new whenever he's around you.

The two of you found a spot on the sand playground and sat on the bench where the sky is in clear view.

Just after making yourselves comfortable on the bench, the colorful lights painted the dark skies.

"Wahhh! Dice look! They're pretty!" You tugged on his yukata a little as your gaze never left the colorful fireworks.

With a smile on his face, the tugging made hum focus his eyes somewhere else, Dice stared adoringly at your lit features as he watched the fireworks reflecting in your eyes.

"Hmm. It is, very beautiful" He said with a gentle smile on his lips.

"Right?!" You caught his eyes and gave him a big smile.

Flustered with your sudden action, you felt a warm sensation on your hand.

"Uh—! C-can I? I mean it's fine if you don't want to." Dice lifted his hand away from yours.

"Silly! I guess you can" Your cheeks dusted pink and intertwined your fingers with Dice's.

Heartbeats racing under the fireworks, The loud crackling noise emanated the area. You noticed Dice moved closer to you as your shoulder touched his.

With his warm hand on yours, still you were captivated by the scenery. Dice glances at you, feeling anxious to speak. He knows he have said it pretty much all the time but with this time, he maybe thinking it's a perfect opportunity to tell you again how special you are for him.

"Y/N..." Dice called out.

You turned your head to his direction with an innocent expression plastered on your lips.

"Yes?" You said tilting your head a little.

"I love you."

"Ah! Look!" You pointed excitedly to the sky.

Unfortunately, what a timing it is just in time a loud noise overlapped his voice despite you being beside him, it was finally the most impressive of the fireworks display being shown signalling it might end soon.

"Daisu-kun, what were you saying again?"

Dice only stared at you intently before breaking into a long sigh.

"Oh lol! I forgot it now, I'll tell ya when I remember" Dice sheepishly laughed.

Sadness found its way to his eyes, feeling a little disappointed about what just happened. His grasp on your hand tightened. He also noticed how quiet it has been when he felt something leaned on his shoulder and your hair tickling his neck.

Thought, maybe you got tired from all the walking for the past hours. Dice stared at you lovingly and leaned his head on yours.

"Maybe I should just let her be for a while." Dice smiled.

It wasn't bad, maybe not at all. As long as you're here, Dice will be happy.

The following day

Sprawled over your cover with your stomach showing, it really was visible that you got really tired last night but at least you were able to walk on your own two feet and change clothes.
