"Where were you?" You placed your hands on your knees and struggled for breath.

After praying and was time for the fireworks show, you wanted to find Jiro. You'd like to think the reason is just to be fair with him because he's the one who invited you to the festival so should you watch the display with him. But is it really the reason?

"Woah! Y/N-chan?! Didn't think you'd be looking for me.." Jiro surprised by your presence and has a frown on his face at the end of his sentence.

When you started to live with Fling Posse, his confidence as your long time suitor went downhill yet that didn't stop him to find ways possible to spend time with you.

Right now, he didn't really expect you'll come running looking for him.

"Come on, the show's going to start!" You took his hand and pulled him on a nearby lake bridge where the view was clear.

"Seriously, sometimes I just doubt you're older than me" Jiro chuckled as he leaned on the wooden surface beside you.

"Your point is?" You raised an eyebrow.

"I guess it's something I can't prove, you're just as adorable as ever!" He grinned and pinched your left cheek.

"Owwie.." You furrowed your eyebrows.

"Oops! Sorry!" Retreating his hand, he scratched the back of his head.

"There it is!" You stated excitedly as the once dark sky now lit with color.

"Wahh! Just like I expected! Pretty right?" Jiro grinned happily.

"Uhmm!" You nodded eagerly.

Propping your face on your hands as you let the wooden material carry your weight. Your jaw opened in awe while admiring the fireworks. And you just remembered giving an excuse to the trio that you have something planned with Jiro went unexpectedly smooth given how hard headed those three are.

In fact, they do know already about what's really going on with You and Jiro, they're very jealous but you being a dear friend for them, your happiness mattered the most.

"Wait— that means... how did you manage to escape from those three?" Jiro suddenly realized.

"I told them the truth." You gave him a small smile.

"What?! For real?, man i might get ganged up after this" Jiro sighed and chuckled.

"They won't, I promise you. You're safe with me" You giggled.

Your sentence brought an all too familiar red shade on the younger male's cheeks.

"True." Jiro simply answered while his eyes focused on your face instead of the fireworks.

The breeze felt really good around the waters, you would often have night time walks with Jiro before your apartment got on fire. Let's say you're really comfortable around him ever since.

Jiro on the other side wasn't denying the fact how you just see him as a friend and it somehow made him feel special.

Will it ever come to a circumstance where you would pick him? Like maybe in a parallel world? This was some things Jiro would mindlessly thought.

a day after

"Why would you pick Jiro over me?~" Ramuda pouted.

Letting out a sigh with having to deal with Ramuda's antics again, but you know even if you gave a simple reason then he would just agree right away.

"Hey, let her be man. You can't just expect Y/N to be with you" Dice rolled his eyes.

"Huh?! But why?!" Ramuda frowned and his eyebrows furrowed.
