"Sorry, sorry." Lisa bowed and apologized repeatedly after bumping with a student. Jisoo and Jennie sighed exasperatedly. They looked at the younger walking with her eyes on the ground and hair covering her whole face.
The two exchanged glances then crossed their arms simultaneously. Lisa just continued walking.
"Ya!" Jisoo held both her shoulders.
"Unni, why?" Lisa said whispering.
"What do you mean why? You look like you're a walking dead."
"I'm hiding." She said while carefully covering her face with her hair. Jennie raised an eyebrow.
"From what?"
"From..." Lisa tried to search for words, "nothing. Don't mind me."
"How can we not? Tell us, is someone troubling you?" Jisoo tucked Lisa's hair behind her ears, it revealed a pouting Lisa.
"Nothing really, I'm just not in the mood." Lisa looked around, obviously uneasy. She tried hiding it with a big smile, but Jennie won't buy her act.
"Do you have a stalker?"
"What? No!" Lisa exclaimed, confused about where that came from.
"Seriously, Lisa. What is this about?" Jisoo's serious tone made Lisa straight her back. If there's a list of things she fears the most, angry Jisoo is probably topping it.
"I'm sorry soonie, I am just not feeling well."
The two raised their eyebrows, concern etched in their faces. Jisoo was quick to touch her neck and forehead to check if she has a fever.
"Your temperature seems normal.
"Is it? My muscles are really aching, probably because of the exercises I do?" Lord, forgive me for lying. Lisa thought as she secretly crossed her fingers behind her.
"You should take painkillers, let me bring you to the clinic."
"No, you guys should eat. Don't bother anymore." She said as she waved her hands 'no'.
Jennie shook her head. "How can we eat peacefully knowing you're sick? We should grab you your lunch."
"Unni, I'm not hungry. I have daifuku in my bag if ever I want to eat."
"At least let us bring you to the clinic." Jisoo insisted.
"But—"
"No buts, let's go." Jennie locked arms with her then started walking.
Oh shit.
Truth is, Lisa planned on hiding in her classroom all day and go home early. She's hiding from the one and only president.
Why, you ask?
She herself doesn't know. Well at least, that's what she insists. At the back of her mind, she's just afraid to face Jungkook with mixed feelings. She definitely doesn't know how to act around him anymore. It doesn't help how she swoon over the littlest things he do.
