"Liz?"

She didn't immediately notice Bambam as he quickly approached her. Lisa stayed sat on the sand with tears and a broken heart. Too overwhelmed, she can't seem to process properly.

"Hey.. hey look at me what happened?"

Bambam was quick to attend the friend in a pitiful state. Worry brushed his heart as he saw her eyes full of tears, never in his existence did he saw such emotion from her. Not waiting for her reply anymore, he caged Lisa to a hug, the latter buried her face on his shoulder. Bambam couldn't care less about his new shirt being a tear wiper for her.

"You're shaking, let's get you something to drink."

He carefully got up, Lisa refused to let go of the hug. He chuckled lightly because she used to act like this when they were young. Whenever kids from the neighborhood tease her, she always seek for his rescue, clinging to him. Although he's younger, Bambam served as an older brother Lisa never had.

"Come on now, ugly kid, people will think I made you cry."

Lisa finally let go of him and sniffed, her lips protruded while her cheeks and eyes are swollen, reddish from crying.

"I'm not ugly."
She protested.

"You went away and boosted your ego huh? You still look like a chimpanzee."
Bambam even made annoying gestures.

"You still look like a gorilla."
Lisa rebutted, at last smiling a little.

Bambam was contented seeing her slight grin, he wiped her face with his towel and fixed her hair.

"You're already grown but can't even properly take care of yourself, you should've stayed here."
He sounded serious. Of course he mean it, there were countless of times that he tried to stop her from leaving.

There were few seconds of silence until Lisa sighed.

"I really wish I did."

Bambam wasn't able to respond immediately but he felt like he shouldn't ask more because she will probably tell about it if she's comfortable enough.

He tapped Lisa's cheeks then put his arm around her shoulders locking her close to him.

"Come on, let's eat, pay for me."
He demanded while they were walking. Lisa reached for his head, he grew a little over the short time she's away. To think that she used to be a lot taller than him.

"You should pay, you're the guy."

"It's 2020, gender isn't a thing anymore." He yawned.

"You're younger."
Lisa stressed.

"Who made that rule?"
Bambam whined. Lisa laughed at his distressed face.

"Me."
