"What's with that face early in the morning, Liz?"
Jennie sipped on her Vanilla latte refusing to cool it down first. She looked at the younger with a mix of concern and amusement. Jisoo glanced at them to show she's listening before going back to reading her Thinking Fast and Slow book by the author Daniel Kahneman.

Lisa sighed, she rested her cheeks on the palm of her hands while excessively stirring the coffee she ordered. She definitely looks like she woke up at the wrong side of the bed. She didn't even bothered styling herself and just threw an oversized hoodie and a pair of cotton shorts. The hood is to hide the bird hive that is her unruled hair bundled in a loose bun. Her circular glasses that she uses for reading is also an instrument to hide the puffiness of her eyes and her swelling cheek.

"I am broke."

Jisoo put her book down confused as to what the younger means. They're together always and never disld she saw her with a man, moreover be dumped. Or could it be that she had a boyfriend from her home country?

Jennie however was silently analyzing Lisa, she doesn't look "heart" broken, she look stressed.

"You had a boyfriend?"
Jisoo asked, not being able to contain what's bugging her mind. Lisa looked shock and confused, where did she even mentioned a boy?

"No, I never have— that's not the topic, though?"

"She just thought of that because you said 'broke' anyway, what do you really mean?"
Jennie played with her tips bleached and dyed with a deep color of green.

"I'm running out of money, and if I don't get a decent job sooner I will starve to death!"
Lisa pulled the strings of her hoodie out of frustration. It's been days and she can't find a job suited to her. What's up with that? She got a lot of necessities to attend and prioritize, her mom is sending her money every now and then but she thinks that her mom could've had those just for herself.

"There's a plenty of job offers here in this street, why don't you try?"

She tried, alright. If any, she almost applied for every job hiring stalls. However, if the schedule wasn't clashing with her class time table, it gotta be some shady business with a total shift at night and the last thing she want to be is a stripper for middle aged men, that's not what she aspires to be that's why she ought to be extra careful.

"Why not look online or something? There might be offers there. Usually businesses use paid advertisements nowadays."
Jisoo suggested while sipping the last drop of her iced mocha.

"I don't know, soonie, may luck find its way to me." She said clasping her hands and pressing them firm.

Monday and tadaaa school again. She made a last look of herself on her compact mirror before leaving the cab. She brushed her bangs a little before putting her mirror away. After doing so, she backed of a little when a familiar face popped up in front of her.
