"Who says I'm not?"
The attention instantly transferred to the walking eye magnet that is none other than Jeon Jungkook. Still clad on his triathlon uniform and a slightly loose headband and ponytail, he walked as if he is graced by the gods themselves.
His competition just finished and without any doubt, he won with ease. Jaehyun beamed at him, although behind that billion-dollar smile, Jungkook knows he's gritting his teeth.
"Minhyuk hyung sprained his ankles, I'm subbing." He said nonchalantly like it's not a big deal. Jae's smile widened, the sudden realization hitting me.
"Oh shit, Jeon, do you really think you can beat me in basketball?" Jae said with a mocking tone, one that he always uses whenever he's talking with him. Taehyung was about to butt in but Jungkook gave him a knowing look.
"We never played why do you talk big?"
"We did. A lot of times. You might beat me in other games and situations but not today. Not in my nature." Jaehyun bumped Jungkook's shoulder as he made his way to the exit, but before leaving, he went back to Lisa that is quietly observing them.
He gently grabbed his towel that she's holding and dabbed it slightly on her cheeks. "There's still a little smudge over here."
There was a minute of silence after Jae's exit, until Jimin sighed loudly. "That son of a gun, who does he think he is coming here with an attitude like that? Hey, Tae, make sure you beat the shit out of their school before I—"
"Before you what? All talk, no actions. Fucking manwhore." Jennie that was also silence since earlier wasn't able to contain herself anymore and said what exactly is in her mind. Jimin was taken aback by her words.
"Excuse me?"
"Excused." Jennie even stepped aside to make a way for him, of course, mockingly.
Jimin looks like he was about to say something more but decided to keep it to himself much to Jennie's delight, in her mind, she won an argument. A one-sided argument in reality.
"Why are you playing, JK?" Tae that is the closest to Jungkook was bothered, he can't say if the guy's serious or was just pushed at the edge.
"I told you a member is inj—"
"Cut that crap, I have enough talented players to sub if that's what bothers you."
"I will play. That's it." Jungkook turned his back to them and made his exit on the opposite direction. Taehyung and Jimin exchanged confused gazes.
"Excuse me but why is it a big deal if he plays? I mean, Jungkook look pretty fit." Lisa can't help but get intrigued. Taehyung stared at Jungkook's retreating back before speaking with a low volume.
"He never played basketball. At least a serious one."
