"You better not knock me out like you did last time," Nicki warned as bounced the ball over to the hoops.
"I won't, but I bet you glad I did," I winked at her.
"Why would I be glad? I had a massive lump on the back of my head that hurt and gave me headaches," She frowned as she tossed the ball to me. "And you know I get real bad headaches," She added, catching the ball as I bounced it to her.
"Well aside from that, you getting hurt, I was talking about that I wouldn't have kissed you and we probably wouldn't be together," I pointed out. She nodded and bounced the ball toward me.
"I guess, now concentrate!" She demanded bouncing the ball around me in a spin before throwing the ball perfectly in the metal hoop. "You know I hate easy games," She winked, strutting off to the middle of the court.
"Alright, alright, I'm ready," I pulled my shorts up and watched her bounce the ball.
"You go," She bounced the orange ball to me and I caught it. Working out a little technique in my head, I bounced the ball forward and tried to pass it through Nicki's legs after I faked to go around her. Due to her lack of height, it was harder then I thought. She caught the ball just before it landed in between her legs and dribbled to the other side and dunked the ball. "You're boring me," She fake yawned as she walked back over, the ball neatly tucked under her left arm.
"Sorry baby, you just too good," I bent and wrapped my arms around her, just under her ass and lifted off the ground. She let out a little squeal as I fully lifted her up, the ball dropping to the fall, rolling away. Her arms loosely wrapped around my neck and she smiled down to me.
"I know, think I should be like professional," She said cockily before pecking my lips. I let her body slid down in my arms a little so she could wrap her legs around me. One hand under her ass and the other softly holding her neck as I pulled her back down for more. Her soft lips felt so good against my own, as if she's been practicing till she's perfect, she is perfect. I never want her to leave me, to leave us. She pulled back up and smiled sweetly, pulling her hair over her left shoulder. "I love you,"
"I love you too," I kissed her once more before I started to spin with her.
"Oh my Aubrey! Why do you have to ruin the moment?!" She screamed as she gripped on tighter to me, burying her head into my neck. I slowed and let Nicki slid through my arms and back down to the floor on her feet. "I hate you so much right now," She glared.
"Aww, love you too. You are just the cutest," I cheesed as I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her cheek.
"Don't touch me. You ruined a moment and made me dizzy. So therefore I will have to find someone else to spend my time with," She turned on her heels and walked back toward the house, my eyes glued to her ass at all times.
"You're ass looks great in them shorts," I called. She glared at me before shutting the house door.
Nicki's POV
"Jade!" I called out, wandering around the house.
"Onika," I heard Mama Sandi behind me in the kitchen door way. "She's just popped out to the store for me, she'll be back in about an hour hopefully," She explained to me as she turned back into the kitchen, drying a dish as I followed.
"Ah, ok then, where's my brother and dad?" I asked, helping put away the dry dishes.
"I think your father is upstairs with Micaiah, unpacking his bag from the camping trip," She replied passing me a mug.
"Thanks, Aubrey ruined a moment and is annoying me, I need some other company. I can't just spend the rest of my life with just him," I giggled.
"Do you see your self being with Aubrey for the rest of your lives?" Mama Sandi questioned.
"Uh...well, I haven't really thought about the future really yet. However, I would love to spend my life with him and I think we could if we tried," I smiled. I really think we could, we've been friends fur so long now and this relationship is going great so I think if we both stay committed and engaged in our relationship, we really could like get married and have kids. I've always wanted children, from a very young age I knew that I would have at least one child no matter what. Preferable I'd like to have 3, but I won't complain if we have less or more, I'd still be just as happy. Although, I'm really not to sure on what Drake thinks about having kids, I know he's great with the but I'm not sure if he'd like some of his own. I really hope he does as I don't know what I would do if he didn't and I couldn't persuade him. Guess I'll just have to ask.
"I'm sure you two will make such a great family with some adorable grandchildren for me and your father," She beamed. I didn't know she knew about my father and Carol.
"Aw, thanks. Um...how did you know about my dad and Carol?" I asked, hoping she didn't know all along and never told me.
"Oh sweetie, your father explain it all to me when he first got here. I hope you're ok, to go through almost 18 years of your life not knowing who your real family is, is terrible," She opened her arms and I wrapped my own around her, her hands stroking my hair.
"Yeah, the way I found out was just like so bad, I wish I'd found our another way. The whole thing though, I am upset that nobody ever said anything to me before I got this old. I really thought I had a great relationship with my 'mother' but then to have that all be a lie...makes me feel that for most of my life I've been living a lie. It's just...I can't really get my head fully around how I'm feeling right now," I sighed, holding back my tears. We pulled apart and she looked deep into my eyes.
"You don't have to stay strong all the time hun, you need to let everything out, it's ok to cry," She smiled, rubbing my arm.
"I know, it's just...it doesn't help anything, I'd rather fix the problem or ignore how I'm feeling if I can't do anything about it, than cry over it," I shrugged, looking up after bowing my head.
"I understand, but letting everything out to someone and to cry will make you feel at least a little better," She told me.
"Yeah, I have like a couple times, I just don't wanna get into the habit of like depending on someone to listen to my problems to make myself feel better. What if a day comes where I'm upset but there is nobody to talk to?" I spoke, brushing away a tear.
"Well just you know that I am always here for you and there will always be someone you can talk to whether it be Aubrey, me, your other friends or Jelani, you will always have someone to listen to your problems," She smiled. Mama Sandi always knows the right things to say.
"Thanks, I'm gonna go see how Micaiah and my dad is doing," I told her before leaving the kitchen and venturing upstairs.
Drake's POV
After Nicki left I shot a few more hoops before going inside to find her.
"Oh ma?" I spotted my mother in the kitchen.
"Yes Aubrey?" She turned away from the sink and back toward me.
"You know where Nika is?" I asked, spinning the ball in my hands.
"She's up with her father and Micaiah. I'm unsure wether she wants to be around you though right now," She told me.
"Ugh, I didn't know of she was joking or she was actually annoyed," I groaned.
"What happened?"
"I'd picked her up and we was kissing, then I spun her around. She got annoyed and said I ruined the moment before walking off," I answered.
"Don't make a big fuss over it, just leave her to it for a little while, you can't always be around each other," My mother advised me.
"I know, but I have nothing to do now," I sighed, sitting down at one of the stools.
"You can help me. Also, later, I think Onika has a few things bothering her and she needs someone to talk to. She'll be feeling down after all that's happened and I think she needs a good cry and talk to someone about it all," She informed me before pulling out a few cloths.
"Alright, I'll talk to her later," I picking up a cloth and started helping my mother clean the house.
Nicki's POV
"How you guys getting along?" I asked as I walked into the room my father, Micaiah and Jade we're sharing. "Woah it's a bit cramped in here," I scanned the room, looking at all the furniture squashed in. The was two single beds at either side of the room, a small chest of draws between them and the sofa from the basement at the wall opposite the beds, leaving about a half a metre gap between the bed and sofa.
"Nika!" Micaiah jumped up and lept into my arms.
"Hey little lamb chop, how you doing?" I asked, placing him on my hip.
"Daddy boring me," He pouted. "Come help? It be funner with you," His eyes lit up hopefully.
"Course I will," I smiled, rubbing my nose against his causing him to giggle.
"Yay," He struggled out out of my arms and grabbed my hand to sit me down on the floor, well in the small space of floor there was.
"It's so cramped up in here, how do you guys cope?" I asked.
"Me and Jade sleep in bed and daddy sleep on the sofa," Micaiah replied.
"Shi- wow tha-"
"You said a naughty word!" Micaiah exclaimed, gasping and pointing at me.
"No, I said sheesh wow," I covered up.
"I let this one slide," He squinted his eyes at me before turning to the suitcase.
"Right let's do this," I grabbed some clothes out of Micaiah's suitcase and began putting them away.Few decent comments/feedback and next chapter soon after
