I managed to get some sleep on the plane, so I wasn't as tired now. I was so excited that I would be seeing mum in just a few seconds! I was just a few seconds away from walking through the arrival doors with my suitcase! I was so excited! I was almost running as I aproached the doors. I pushed the doors open and scanned the room. All of a sudden, I say my mum running up to me. I dropped my case and hugged her tightly, while tears ran down my face.
"I've missed you so much" I cried.
"I'm missed you too" She replied as we pulled away. "Come on, we better get going" I could see how happy she was to see me and that just got me even more excited to see the rest of my family.
"Ok" She grabbed my bag and we headed out of the airport. She put my bag into the boot of her car, as I got into the passenger seat. Once my mum got in and drove off, we started making convosation.
"So, how have you been?" My mum asked.
"Great, how have you lot been?" I replied.
"Good, we really miss you" She told me.
"I know, I really miss you lot as well"
"Well, I know when we get home, you'll want to see them straight away, but its very late and they're all asleep"
"Thats ok, just as long as I get to see them" I smiled.
"How about we suprise them at breakfast tomorrow?" My mum suggested.
"Yer, I could come down when you're all have breakfast, this is gonna be great! I can't wait!" I said with a smile plastered on my face.
"So, how's it been living with Sandi and Aubrey?"
"Great, I felt at home, apart from you lot weren't there"
"Good, how was Jungle Water?"
"Great, we had a lot of fun, apart from when Drake forced me down a water slide" I laughed.
"Just as long as you had fun" She smiled. "Makiya has probably missed you the most"
"Aww, how can you tell?"
"Well, almost everyday he asks when he's going to see you again and goes off sulking when I tell him no time soon"
"Aww, you're making me feel bad now"
"We're almost here, just around this corner" I looked out of the window and saw the houses rush by. I was expecting there to be snow, but I haven't seen any yet, just grass. We soon pulled up to a house a parked in the drive. The house was mostly white, had three floors from what I could see and was a bit bigger than what I expected. There was a play set in the garden beside the house, along with a table and chairs. My mum got my suit case from out of the boot and unlocked the front door. As I stepped in, it was pitch black and I din't want to knock anything over, so I walked slowly and carefully. I heard my mum click a switch and the lights came on, lighting up the stairway and two doors either side of me. "Just stay here while I go check everyone's asleep" She told me as she locked the door. I nodded as she walked up the stairs and disappeared into the darkness. A minute later she returned at the top of the stairs. "Ok, leave your suitcase there and come up" She whispered. "I'll sow you your room, then I'll bring your case up" She added. I quietly made my way up the stairs and my mum showed my my room. My room was smaller than my room at Drake's, but it was fine. There was a bed pressed up against the left wall, a bedside table on its right, a wardrobe facing the end of the bed and a desk with a swivel chair against the right wall. "I know its small, but its only a week" She told me.
"No, its fine and as you said, its only a week" I smiled to her.
"I'll be back with your suitcase"
"Thanks mum" She turned out my room and headed down the stairs, to retrieve my suitcase. I then remebered that I needed to call Drake. Just as I pulled my phone out, my mum had gotta back with my suit case.
"Here you go" She wheeled my suitcase in and put it by the door. "I'll leave you to get some sleep, then I'll wake you in the morning to suprise everybody" She smiled.
"Ok, I love you mummy" I said as I hugged her.
"I love you too, now get some sleep" She said pulling away.
"Ok, good night"
"Good night" She walked out of the room and shut the door behind her. I sighed and decided to change into my pajamas. I wore my fleecie pink supergirl pajama bottoms and a black tank top. I decided I will put my clothes away tomorrow morning, once I had surprised everybody. I turned my light off and got into bed, after grabbing my phone and calling Drake's number.
D-Hey baby
N-Hey
D-How you doing
N-Great, its nice being back with my family again, even though I've only seen my mum
D-Why? Were are the others?
N-They're all asleep and I'm gong to suprise them in the morning
D-Aww, they're going to love that
N-I know
D-What are you doing now?
N-Just in bed, talking to you
D-You tired?
N-Not really but I'm going to sleep after I've talked to you
D-Alright, just as long as you get your sleep
N-What are you doing?
D-Same as you
N-Oh, I miss you
D-I miss you too, babe
N-I want you here with me
D-I want to be there with you as well
I could feel tears building up in my eyes.
D-Don't cry
N-H-how did you know I w-was crying?
D-We've been friends for years and I could hear you
N-Oh, can you s-sing to me
D-Yes, I love you
N- I l-love you too
I laid on my side with my phone between my ear and the pillow, while Drake sang me to sleep.
