Jade's POV
Drake hasn't been home all night. I am really worried. He hasn't been answering anyone's calls or text since he's left with out telling anyone.
"Jade?" I heard my aunt Sandi voice.
"Yeah?" I turned to her.
"Have you heard anything?" I really wish I could say yes. That's his mother. She's worried sick. He maybe be 17 but for him to just disappear is still worrying.
Nicki's POV
I peaked into the house through the back door before stumbling in when I saw nobody. I can't believe I stayed out all night! Still intoxicated, I scurried up to my room without anyone seeing me. Last night was crazy. I got there about 11:30 and didn't leave until 6:45! I can't even remember what I did. All I know is that I drank way to much and the last thing I remember is going up stairs with him and Vincent. Fuck! I check my pockets and pulled out one of the little pouches. Taking a few and swallowing them down with a sip from my bottle, I took out the other pouch and began. I'd rolled a few a couple times with Aubrey but he helped me. Once I'd rolled 3 that weren't too bad, I place one between my lips and sat out on my balcony.
Drake's POV
I threw my bag into the corner of my room and laid back on my bed. I didn't mean to be gone all night, they're probably worried. Deciding to go up and find my mother, I stood up off my bed and made my way to the kitchen. When I didn't find her in there I went up to her room.
"Mum," I called through the door.
"Aubrey?" She pulled the door open and scanned me. "Where have you been?" She asked trying to conver up her relief and worry with anger.
"I'm sorry, I just went out with Ryan and fell asleep at his place," I explained.
"Make sure you tell someone where you're going next time or at least answer your phone," She told me, whilst pointing her spoon at me.
"Alright, I will," I smiled and she shook her head. "Hey, um how's Nicki?" I asked. I hope I didn't upset her too much yesterday. I didn't mean to shout. It's just all the frustration in me about not know what is wrong or how to help Nicki right now. It's awful seeing her like this. So distant.
"I'm not sure," She sighed. "I haven't seen her come out of that room once. I really hope she is feeling better soon. She really can't go on like this for much longer. I'm so worried about her," She set her spoon down and took her mug out of the kitchen. My mother is right. I turned out of the kitchen and went up to Nicki's room.
Nicki's POV
The smoke drifted out of my lips into the warm summer air. Summer will be over soon. Then it's back to college. I heard Drake call through my bed room door.
"Onika?" Oh fuck off! I really didn't wanna be dealing with anyone right now.
"Fuck off Drake," I spoke calmly. The drugs already in my system, especially the alcohol is been drinking all night.
"Can I come in?" He asked.
"No," I replied as I took another drag.
"Look, I just came to apologise for yesterday-" He started.
"I'm not in the mood," He was ruining my high.
"Can we talk later," I laid my head back and ignored his voice. "I'll come back later," I know he's done nothing wrong. I jut really am not in the mood to be around people. I just wanna be alone. I dabbed it out and went back inside. It was only 7:41 in the morning. I changed out of my skirt and shirt into just some clean underwear, before climbing into my bed and falling asleep.
Drake's POV
I returned to my room and turned on the TV. I really don't know what's going on with Nicki. She's really starting to worry me. I get sometimes people wanna be alone but she's been alone for the past few days. Also she's acting as if I've done something wrong and pushing me away. Something really big must be bothering her to push me away. I'm upset that she's pushing me away and I haven't done anything but I mainly just worried that she acting so different. I picked up my phone and looked through my contacts.
"Hello Drake," Her cheery voice came through my phone.
"Hey Kelly, can I book an appointment?" I asked.
"Of course, as soon as possible?" She answered.
"Yeah,"
"Ok so we've got the soonest as...Thursday, so in 2 days time, at 2:30. Is that ok?" She informed me.
"Yeah, that's good, thanks," I thanked her.
"Your welcome, I have to say Drake, I thought you was getting much better since the last time I saw you...you were a completely changed man," She spoke.
"Oh it's not for me. I'm doing well though, no need for an appointment for me soon," I chuckled. "It's for my girlfriend. She's being really distant lately and shutting herself away in her room. I think maybe this could help her to just open up to someone or have someone advise her of ways to stay well and deal with her emotions," I told her.
"Aw, well I really hope she gets better, try not push her to hard into anything though," She advised.
"Thanks, we hope to see you on Thursday then,"
"Yes, see you then,"
"Bye," I ended the conversation. Setting my phone down, I sat up on my bed and went to find my mother. I found her sat in the lounge watching TV. "Hey," I spoke as I sat down.
"Hey Aubrey, how you doing?" She smiled at me.
"Alright, just trying to figure out how to help Nicki, you know," I sighed.
"I really wish I knew what I could do to help. She won't even let me come in and speak to her," She sighed and took a sip from her mug.
"Well, I've just rang Kelly and asked if I could get an appointment and I've got one for Onika on Thursday at 2:30. Hopefully she will go," I hoped.
"If she goes I think that will make a massive improvement like it did for you. I hope she's willing to go. How are you going to ask her?" My mother questioned.
"I'm just planning on telling her someone wants to see her and talk to her. I think she'll refuse to go if she's knows where she's going," I answered.
"Ok, just make sure you don't lie to her or cover up most of the truth. She will definitely not get better causing her to be angry at you," She advised.
"I will," I stood up and left the room
